> 24 hourSome colors are more translucent than others, and this is one of the more translucent I have come across. I love the oil binder this company uses. Its slick and easy to lay on the canvas and blend with. As far as being translucent, I can use this and not worry about overpowering the other colors. But, on the flip side, because of its lack of opaqueness, I found it hard to make the translucence really pop. I wanted to try this as an alternative to silver (sometimes silver is too dark) but the silvers I have are much more iridescent. Still, this white definitely has its uses, just a bit less versatile than I hoped.

> 24 hourWindsor and Newton oil paints are my favorite brand. I purchased this as well as 1 other because I wanted more transparency in parts of my paintings. Am just starting to use it, but it seems to be working well.
