Greater than one weekThis is not the water mixable oil product that Windsor Newton also makes. I searched for water mixable oils and once again Amazon search brought me to a product that looked like what I wanted but was the wrong material. I’ve been trying out water mixable oils since they are less toxic and safer to use at home. I only ordered this from Amazon because they could deliver faster than Amazon...unfortunately, I unwittingly used this yellow ochre as a base for several canvases. I’ve used up all my other regular oil paint supplies so I’ve nothing to do with the canvases I prepped with this paint but haven’t used, we’ll see what happens to the work I did with water mixable oils on top of the oil paint foundation. I’m mostly disappointed with this product because it came up in a search for something I wasn’t looking for. Buy your art supplies from Blick.

> 3 dayThis handy sized tube of white oil color is just right for stuffing in my duffel bag when I paint on location. The brilliant white color mixes well with other colors and does a good job of covering large areas of canvas.

> 3 dayThese oil paints have always been of a high quality and remains my brand of choice since I first started painting. Cobalt blue is a deep, rich and versatile hue.

Greater than one weekThe only negative I have about this so far is that it came all squished in the package from storage or shipping. The paint itself seems nice and comparable to Grumbacher that I have used in the past.

19-04-2025At first use, the paint glides on very smoothly. The color is a strikingly rich charcoal black and the texture is creamy with a nice thickness that turns thin. It also blends extremely well given that I used a pretty basic brush on mere sketch paper. As a first time user and art student, I would absolutely purchase again!

> 3 dayIf youre a student taking painting at MJC, this tube lasted me for a whole semester and I still had some left over (about 1/3) by the end of the semester. Worth it for those who have a tendency to use too much paint. P.S. Get Ultramarine Blue and Burnt Umber in the same size as well (they will be used for making black)

> 3 dayWinsor and Newton makes great water mixable oil paint, maybe not as good as COBRA, but they can hold their own if looking to save a little money.
