> 3 dayThis transmitter description can be a bit confusing at times, Ive seen it listed as handling 4k and then in other places listed at 1080p only. Im using it on a 1080p screen so thats what Ill be covering here. Im a teacher at a school with an overhead projector way up high in the ceiling. They havent run any long hdmi cables through to a wall outlet, only VGA, and I needed to move the computer away from where the VGA outlet was. My solution was to try one of these out so I could leave the receiver on top of the projector and not have to have any messy cable runs down the center of my computer lab. Now, the kind of stuff I use the projector for are videos and still shots and I just use it to duplicate what I see on my monitor. In that circumstance, under those conditions, its pretty handy. Its a little annoying that it cant just be powered over HDMI alone, but both the projector and computer have USB ports, so powering the transmitter and receiver isnt that big of a deal, it just adds another short wire to the mix. The input delay is noticeable so youd never want to use this thing as a primary display method and forget trying to play a real time game or anything with this as your only video output. But for websites, still shots, and video playback it works great and does exactly what I needed it to. Another thing to be aware of is that this device only transmits at 30 frames per second. Its a little pricey for the performance you get out of it, but it definitely solved a problem I had and most of these transmitter/receiver packages are in the same price range of around $80 to $150. This one goes for $130 as do ones with a similar feature set. So, in the end, if you have a very specific need like I did, this could work out well for you. If youre just looking to transmit from one device way across the room to a TV and need it for something like real time interaction with a game, youll want to look for a different solution.

Greater than one weekI really was looking for a way to connect my steam deck/ iPad Pro to the screen without too much hassle and wireless if possible and this does just that. I wasn’t aware of wireless hdmi transmitter and I’ve been recently shocked to see how well they perform. I was able to play my steam deck at 40-60 fps minor minor lags which isn’t something I was expecting. Outputting movies or other Medias, the experience was without any lags and that is what most people would probably use it for. Presentation, medias and other less demanding contents and this does that flawlessly

> 3 dayIt came on and worked but I could not pair the transmitter with the receiver cause the button on the transmitter. I even took it apart to try to see what was going on. I was really hoping this thing worked but it was a no go. I wouldnt recommend this item cause it appears to be made cheaply.

> 3 dayThis is my favorite HDMI wireless adapter. I recently tried four different ones, and 3 of them had issues of one sort or another. This one is rock solid, has decent range, and lots of features, including crystal clear output. In my case I wanted to extend the output of my camera NVR to a remote monitor. This monitor only had VGA and DVI inputs - no worries I thought - Ill just get an HDMI->DVI cable and bobs your uncle! Wrong. The monitor doesnt support 1920x1080 (1080p), it only supported up to 1680x1024. Bummer. Then I noticed the VGA connector on the back. Dug out a vga cable and VOILA! It works. Crystal clear video, I can even read the camera overlay with it downscaling for the monitor. I also tested screen sharing from my Android phone, and it worked perfectly as well. It also has many other features that I didnt test - but it is the one I love! If you need a solid wireless HDMI transmitter, get this one. You wont be sorry.

> 3 dayCant get this audio to work over HDMI from my Samsung TV to my External AMP. Doesnt seem to recognize the source for sound. On a laptop it works fine, but when I change it as instructed from either HDMI or HDMI ARC on my Samsung TV, it does not work.

> 3 dayThis unit works when it wants to. It will be working and then it just loses the signal, it may come back and it might not. Now about 4 months later, when it works which is about half of the time, the signal and sound pause for about 2 seconds every 30 seconds. I can not find anyway to get ANY tech support.
