> 24 hourI will admit I was a little cynical when I first ordered this Magic for Witchcraft set, a 30-vial of herbs that are all naturally grown plants with no additives. However, Im pleasantly surprised. While I dont identify as Wiccan, or a witch for that matter, natural remedies are increasingly popular and there are a myriad of ways to use this set including spells, potions, rituals, meditation, and others. The set arrives in a nicely labeled box that would be ideal for a gift. I would say its actually sized like a large book and could pretty easily fit on a bookshelf for storage. When you open the box, the first layer has a ceremony ritual spoon that has a very ceremonial feeling to it and theres a crystal at the end of the spoon. The idea is that you use the spoon for the herbs and this helps to maintain their purity. Following the top layer, there are two layers of 15 bottled herbs each. Each her is individually bottled and nicely enclosed. Herbs include such things as Lotus Embryo, Catnip, Hibiscus, Motherwort, Eucalyptus Leaf, St. Johns Wort, Mugwort, Pine Needles, and quite a few others. These are common herbs used in a variety of spells and rituals. This set will unquestionably appeal to someone who is Wiccan or Pagan, though I think anyone who practices a more Earth-based spirituality will appreciate this set. It also would look beautiful on an altar or in a prayer corner. While Im likely not the target market, Im genuinely impressed and the set is beautifully packaged and very nicely assembled and would be perfect for gift giving or for personal use.

> 24 hourWhen opened and organized, I was missing one of the herbs listed. A second bottle of another herb in its place. Otherwise I am very pleased with this product.

> 24 hourThis is the second set I have gotten which is marketed as for beginners and I am guessing that they hope that whoever picks it up does not know much about whatever the set is supposedly for. The last set so marked was a tarot set with a manual which read like the dao de ching. It had nothing at all to do with tarot (but got high ratings from people who bought it as a gift, and who knew nothing about it). That said, I do not know a lot about witchcraft, but do know enough that I think the box should have a pentacle on it, not a star of David. I would expect such a set to have a candle, but that alone is not enough for me to downgrade it. Really this has nothing to do with witchcraft. I ordered it because it is a very reasonable price for a good selection of herbs. Near everything you need to make a good spaghetti sauce in here, and quite a few things which would work well in bath bombs: dried rose buds, rose petals. There are also a number which would be good in tea, the hibiscus for example. But since these were sold for some other use (not explained) I am not sure if the quality is such that they are fit for consumption, and that is sort of a problem. Since there is not a booklet or anything which would suggest how these ought to be used, I would suggest that this is not for beginners. But, for those who had hoped for something more than additives for bath products, perhaps someone will review this who knows something more about witchcraft. That may not happen because from what little you can see before ordering, whoever put this together seems to know even less than I do. The jars are about half the size of what you would get in a supermarket. It is still a good price for 30 jars of herbs, IF you know that they are safe to use. There is no information on their origin, whether or not they were treated with pesticides..(or much of anything else). But they are well packed and arrived in good condition. The contents of the kit are 30 jars of herbs (roughly half culinary) and a tiny spoon with a crystal point. I should mention that none of them are toxins (no belladonna, for example) but, again, we do not know if they have been sprayed/ treated. There is no information of any kind beyond what you see on the front of the box. Guava leaves are used in witchcraft?

> 24 hourIt was put together and organized very well. I am disappointed in the amounts of herbs in each jar. The quantity was very small and for the cost I would’ve liked to have seen a little bit more product. Thank you

> 24 hourWhile I wasnt impressed with the presentation (stickers haphazardly applied), my big issue was the beetles I found in the Catnip. These bugs eat the plants and contaminate the intent behind the use. They can eat their way through the corks and contaminate the other herbs and petals.
