> 3 dayThese little things are great! We live on a high floor in an apartment building and often open the windows to allow a cross breeze since we’re on a corner. This would slam the doors on a windy day. We have cats and I wanted to make sure they never got trapped in a room. We used to use door stops that were heavy but could get pushed if the door was really slammed. These guards just slipped right on, they’re super lightweight and I’m confident to go out of town and not worry about a little breeze trapping anyone! I wish I would have bought these when we moved in 3 years ago.

> 3 dayThe Finger Pinch Guards are working very well and have helped us to keep our doors from slamming shut. We have our finger pinch guards on two different doors all the time, the one to our bedroom and one to the stairwell upstairs, as well as one on the bathroom door occasionally. Our main purpose currently is to keep our doors from closing completely as well as being slammed shut when we go from room to room. With a small son who loves being held and a dog who loves to chase the cats, they make it significantly easier to close the door just enough to keep the dog uninterested as well as easier to push the door open while holding our son. My son is just starting to reach out and grab things, so when the time comes that he inevitably grabs a door, the Finger Pinch Guards will undoubtedly keep his fingers from getting pinched, which gives me peace of mind that his fingers will never get caught in the closing door. Overall, they are a very well-made and useful product that will never cease to come in handy!

Greater than one weekI use these to keep my cats from accidentally shutting themselves in or out of rooms. Theyve held up great and are easy to remove and hang on doorknobs when I want doors closed. I wish Id bought them years ago instead of using door stops, stacked books, and other less reliable methods.

> 3 dayI put these on one of our doors upstairs and downstairs because on a windy day when the windows are open, sometimes the door closes abruptly from the air pressure. We have two new kittens and I wanted to prevent them from getting their paws caught. These pinch guards have prevented this from occurring.

> 3 dayJust make sure you place it high enough that the toddler can’t remove it.

> 3 dayWe live on the Pacific Coast and as such have very strong ocean breezes and like having our windows open. Occasionally, we’ll get doors slamming due to a sudden gust. We’ve tried several brands and types of protectors. The foam most of them are made of is flimsy and starts tearing after prolonged usage. You never can be sure when it’ll fail. We finally found this brand and are happy. The density and overall quality of the foam used in these is far superior to anything else we’ve tried. They don’t fall apart and they don’t fall off. They cling tightly to our doors and offer a very important protection for our family. Kudos on an excellent product.

> 3 dayI waited until these were actually used for the specific purpose for which I purchased them. After the trauma of having a friends toddler get her fingers caught in the door at my sons luxury box at the ballpark I immediately went online and purchased these. Well they were used last evening when the same family plus some additional toddlers were present. This is s very heavy glass door that is between the inside and outside areas of the suite. We put all 4 on the door spacing them out. They worked perfectly. Id been concerned that they might not stay on because of the thickness of the door but they all stayed on all night over a several hour period. They were very appreciated by the families and I would highly recommend this product.

> 3 dayLiked the design, only issue was the adhesive for the wall was not strong enough to hold my 109-pound dog back so the first time the dog can downstairs she easily pushed the door open, pulling the adhesive along with paint right off the wall. (We own our home so not an issue for us and then my husband used super glue and now it is holding fine!) We use it to keep dogs and toddlers away from the stairs to the second floor-his head was too big to fit through but the cats went through easily to get to their litter box - keeping babies and dogs out! Very pleased!
