> 24 hourReally eats up the wood. First thing I tried it on was a small (5-6) pecan tree stump. I really think this thing will chew the entire stump to the ground. I dont know about longevity or durability since I just starting using it today.

> 24 hourI am a wooden bowl maker, and I use curved rasp discs in the second stage of shaping. These discs have an aggressive initial cut, but dull quickly if you use them on harder woods, such as pecan or oak. I have a holey Galahad rasp from King Arthur tools that still has some cut after well over a hundred bowls. These discs begin to dull noticeably after 2 or 3 bowls. At $70, the Galahad was far more cost effective.

> 24 hourI’ve only used these disks a few times but they seem to be made pretty sturdily and have no trouble removing a lot of wood quickly. I was using them on a black walnut carving I was working on and I had to proceed slowly with these wheels, so as not to take to much wood off. You can easily gouge the piece you’re working on if you don’t use your grinder to feather your removal. Once I used them for about 10 minutes, I quickly got the hang of taking off as much as I wanted, where I wanted, without the wheel grabbing the wood too much. As I said, I’ve only used the product a few times in the week or so that I’ve had it but it seems to be quality made and does the job as intended. Time will tell how long they last but for the price of the two pack I bought, I think it was a sound investment.

> 24 hourI was able to grind a stump down about an inch with one wheel before it got worn down. For the price its good and did what I needed it to do.

> 24 hourI bought this to trim down a crepe myrtle branch that was about two inches thick. Ate through it in seconds. It took me only a few minutes to get the whole branch down to size. Amazingly powerful.
