Not what carvers use!! Why do carvers use “dime-tip”, and “quarter-tipped” chainsaws when carving? In the category of “most dangerous tool” Angle Grinders are probably only second to ladders. Adding chains, which can kick because of geometry or sharpening error, is simply not good idea on which to follow through. (I’m not saying it’s a bad idea… I’m saying that after you ask yourself “maybe a chainsaw chain on an angle grinder is what I need?” the answer should be a resounding “THERE ARE WAY BETTER OPTIONS!” [Check out sanding/shaping disks if you want to use a grinder…] How about a responsible group effort to end the sale of angle-grinder chainsaw attachments! (Write anew, add, or cut-and-paste…)

Was open and missing one Piece

I bought this for BOTH tools but only the chainsaw attachment just barely fits on a 4 1/2 dewalt grinder which works very well. I’ll keep Around for the zombie apocalypse , but I wouldn’t trust the gloves with a dull butter knife. If both tools worked I’d think about a 3.5 star but honestly save the cash and just buy the Chainsaw attachment.

The carving saw is just about the most dangerous tool I have ever used... It grabs and kicks back so you have to hold on to the grinder with all you might to keep it from cutting you. The dome disk is useless as it will not fit any of my standard grinders.... Ryobi, Makita, Bosch, Craftsman or Hercules... it is loose and the small center will not let the lock nut fit properly... who knows about the gloves.. I would not trust them... it does come in a nice case, so I guess who ever gets it now can use the case...

I have 5 Bald Cypress trees in my lawn and bought this to cut down the cypress knees. This blade goes through them like butter and allows me to cut them down to the soil level and below, allowing the grass to cover them.

Did the job I wanted it for. I’d buy again

I like to get a refund it does not fit my grinder
