> 3 dayBasically, these wood dowels are crap. I drilled a 0.375 (3/8) hole in all my work piece anticipating to receive these 3/8 Dowels and finish up quickly. Instead I could see right off they did not fit. They measured 0.390 instead. I can not recommend this brand to any serious wood workers. These are sub standard. Id ask for my money back but I had to finish and found a 0.390 to finish - HOWEVER, the drill was not for wood and made a mess of the holes. After a lot of sanding it was passable. NOT HAPPY !! I threw the rest out. No sense in working with parts that do not meet specifications. Maybe somebody needs to find a hole chart to realize 3/8 = 0.375.

> 3 dayI drilled 3/8 holes and they were so tight they were cracking the wood. They are 1/32 bigger than 3/8. I had to sand them all down to fit.

> 3 dayThese dowel pins are rejects from some reject pile. They aren’t even worth trying to use. They are chipped, split, misshaped, cracked and just bad wood. I wouldn’t even try to use them on any project. Don’t waste your money on this trash.

> 3 dayGood little dowels, the size is true and the hold up rather well. With these, a bit of glue, some wood, and know how and you have a nice piece of furniture. I also used these to fabricate an arched door for an old house, they worked great and gave some extra strength to the joints, saved me from having to use a joiner and was good practice for my apprentice in using depth gauges while drilling. I also used some all thread at the hinge areas to run all the way through the pieces for extra strength so I dont want to hear I did it wrong...
