Love this product. It is all leather except for the straps. There is adequate space for equipment by way of pockets, pencil holder, hammer ring, tape measure holder, and more. The only thin I would change is to make the overall length a bit shorter. Otherwise this is a great product and would recommend to anyone that does woodworking. I like not having to wipe saw dustoff my normal clothes.

You guessed it... a luthier! Whoever designed this apron has obviously worked in a woodworking shop and knows the useful features a good apron should have. Ive had a couple that were more expensive than the EcoZen but this one is better in many aspects. Easy to adjust and easy to get on and off... THANKS!!

I am a wood turner in the South, where heat is a major factor in doing my work. I prefer aprons over smocks because theres airflow in an apron. I purchased an apron from another brand and despised it. With the EcoZen apron it was immediately obvious the material and construction were superior. One of my biggest complaints about the other apron was the top tier pocket and pencil pockets were magnets for wood shavings, and are always full of them. Likewise, because the apron doesnt tie in back like the EcoZen, the kangaroo pockets fill with shavings, too. My favorite feature, however, has to be the metal tape measure clip. I have a solid reassurance when I clip ol Stanley on that I didnt miss and hes not going to bounce off the floor. Ive spent many an hour searching for Stanley because the cloth loop on my old apron was hit or miss. I havent tested this aprons resistance to spatter from finishes or CA glue, but I believe the waxed canvas will be a major benefit.

I was in the middle of a wood project when my apron arrived. I put it on right away and it made a hugh difference. My clothes stayed cleaner and I had pockets or hooks for my tools. Very happy with this apron.

I was looking for a shop apron that would function to keep essential tools close and at my fingertips as I move from one work station to another. I also needed it to keep fine dust and glue off me because I step in and out of my shop to visit jobs and meet with clients. Meeting with clients for the first time in their home or with architects covered in dust isn’t appropriate . Durability is important because of the large pieces I’m lifting and moving around as well as the cleaners, glues and finishes I’m working with. The weight, material and wax treatment are a perfect combination and the fit was exceptional. There are infinite adjustments so a perfect fit is achievable. The straps are attached at the front and back through large metal grommets and double stitched using heavy synthetic thread. The grommets allow the strap to shift so the stress is always perpendicular to the point where it’s attached. Vulnerable bottom corner pockets are reinforced with large rivets and there is a metal clip for a measuring tape. The relationship between strap width, strap locations, padding on the straps and material used result in an apron that feels like you’ve been wearing it for years. You won’t even know you’re wearing it. One of my favorite features is that the deep front pockets have flaps that prevent unwanted sawdust. Just above the pockets is hoodie style pocket allowing access from both sides. It’s big enough you can ball your fists inside so a variety of items can be stored in there. Having worn one of these and experiencing the fit, features and amazing comfort I would spend have spent more.

This shop apron really protects my body from minor injuries while working as well as from paint splatters. It is a bit stiffer than I would like, but I have gotten use to that after awhile. It was somewhat difficult to get it adjusted properly to fit my body and needed my wife to help me properly adjust all the straps. However, once that was done, it it slides on over my head and easily clasps in the back in just seconds for quick use. One feature I really liked and was the deciding factor to purchasing it was that you did not need to tie it in the back as it had a quick clip connection.

Bought this because I needed something to help me stay organized , this apron does just the trick. Its v sturdy, comfortable and light weight enough that it doesnt bog you down while working. The only complaint that I have is you have to slide into it like a sweatshirt. There is not easy release on the shoulder straps to get it to come apart so you can put it on like a normal apron. It does have a hook loop for hanging when you are done with it which is nice.
