Greater than one weekMy daughters had a few fingerlings already and this was a cute addition. It is basically the same as the others, just a different animal. It is a cute baby elephant and it really doesnt get played with much anymore, but not many of the others do either. I think it was just a fun popular toy at one time, but now I will probably see it being sold at the dollar store.

> 3 dayMy kids love these little fingerlings - while they are not the most interactive or educational toys they are fun and have been encouraging my children to free play and interact with each other and other toys. The toys are quiet small and do fit on a childs finger and says some pretty cute and sweet things. They also give kisses - if you blow a kiss, they will blow one back to you! Sweet little toys that kids seem to love.

> 3 dayMy 10-year-old daughter and her friends love these things. She recently got this baby elephant to add to her small but growing collection. My impressions... GENERAL IMPRESSION I was prepared to dislike this before it arrived. I really try to avoid toys that that make a lot of noise. But when I saw my daughter playing imaginitive games with this, along with her friends, I thought it was fairly cute. The color, size, and proportions make this toy kind of adorable. Even the noises it makes are not bad -- kind of mild and low-volume enough to be all right. Just in case, theres an easy-to-access power switch! The quality is good. The toy is made of a kind of heavier-grade plastic, which gives it some heft. The arms and legs are sturdy and attached firmly enough for my daughter to make it grasp things, and it holds on well. It seems that the toy will hold up to use. As a nice touch, it comes with a battery already installed. SOUNDS AND INTERACTIVITY The toy is supposed to make 40 different sounds. I havent been counting, but I dont think Ive heard 40 -- at least not yet! The toy interacts, making different sounds when patted on the head, rocked back and forth, tickled, or laid on its back. It also turns its head side-to-side with some of the sounds. CONCLUSIONS My daughter and her friends love these things, and they all have a few different ones now. As a parent, I approve, and find them playful and fun.

> 3 dayWe own a monkey fingerling but were excited to add this toy, since it has some new features. We liked the idea that it can record what you say, but it is harder to get it to do, than we anticipated. We too, didnt see the instructions hidden in the package, so make sure to check there. My kids still love to play with this and enjoy all the sounds and movements it makes.

> 3 dayIt promises more than it delivers as the voice recording is all but impossible, especially for young children. But it does make some silly noises and stuff so it has some redeeming value for the kids.

Greater than one weekI couldnt even count how many Fingerlings weve ordered for our Daughter in the past, but she really loves this one in particular. She likes elephants, but this one is a pink elephant, on top of that. So it really takes the cake. Really easy for her to use and play with. She likes the way that it interacts with her. And some nights, she takes to having it in bed with her when its time to go to sleep. Its just comforting to her, so we appreciate that part as well. Definitely makes for a great gift, our Little Princess just has so much fun with hers.
