They seem sensitive enough to give out alert early enough to surprise anyone that may tamper with Bike. Gives off a fair audible but does get muffled as these are directional.

These are great and have many more uses than just bikes. I have had theft on my cargo trailer, so I mounted this unit on it and no more problems!

This is my second time to order this. Loud alarm and easy to change batterys.

the best thing......once installed if you bump the scooter it just gives one loud chirp. If the scooter moves.....HALF THE NEIGHBORHOOD is going to know about it! My first concern was that if its just put on the scooter with double sided tape and/or zip ties, what is going to stop the thief from just pulling it off the scooter? Imagine a thief running down the street with a siren in his pocket. Yep, nope....your scooter will be safe!

They wont prevent someone from taking your stuff if they think no one can hear but I have one on my back gate, on my e-Bike, and even used them on campaign signs in my yard! If someone is opportunistically trying to break in and grab, stuns them and they run off. I have bought these over and over again - do know that when they stop working you can replace the battery... took me a while to know that.
