> 3 dayI got this solder to use with my electronics and ham radio projects. When I used it, I liked that it melted easily and flowed smoothly. It’s solder, so there isn’t much else to say, but it does the job and seems to be fine. One thing to keep in mind is that solder that contains lead works better but should never be used where it will come in contact with food or drinking water. So, this product is great for electronics but should not be used for plumbing purposes.

> 3 dayI solder electronics all the time and this is the size thickness you need for low heat and easy flow.

> 3 dayThere doesn’t seem to be a lot of difference between various solders for electrical connections. From the picture on Amazon, it is hard to visualize its exact size. This brand is very thin. (See the photo comparing it to plumbing solder for copper pipes.) This makes it easy to solder small parts together. It is ideal for attaching supply wires to LED lighting strips or for fixing or replacing parts on a printed circuit board. I tried it out and experienced no unexpected problems. It contains lead so it isn’t RoHS compliant, and you should be sure to wash your hands after using it.

> 3 dayIn my spare time, I like to do DIY electronics projects. From light controllers, to bluetooth transmitters and more. This 63/37 tin/lead with a flux core solder makes soldering those small circuit boards a snap. I ordered the .8mm and very pleased with the performance.
