> 3 dayI have not had a game system in many many years! The last game system I had was a PS2! LOL! Which still works! The price was right, and the game library was impressive! I took a chance and I am glad I did. To be honest, had PS offered a competitive system in a price I could afford, I may have gone that route--Especially, if some of my favorite games were available to play via download. I dont regret the purchase. It was a great way to get reacquainted with a (modern) gaming console.

> 3 dayI own the Series S and X. I have the Series X hooked up to a 4k 65inch TV in the living room for some solid 4k 60fps gaming with perks like Dolby Vision HDR etc. NOW the Series S is hooked up to a 1080p gaming monitor (120hz) for my son. This thing runs GREAT at 1080p 120fps. The Series S is capable of 1440p 120fps and 4k 30fps but keep in mind that 4k is upscaled on the S and runs native on the X. Also make sure to turn OFF Allow 4k in the settings of your Series S otherwise it will cap you at 60fps even on a high refresh rate monitor. The SSD in the series S is fast and about 40% quicker load times in most games compared to a PC Hard Drive. Its on par with PC SSDs read/write times. The S also supports Ray Tracing and Dolby Vision HDR like its bigger brother. Best Settings I found when connecting to a Gaming Monitor -Set Resolution to the monitor (1080p or 1440p) -Set Refresh Rate to 120hz -Turn OFF Allow 4k -In Color Setting set to PC RGB KEEP IN MIND That you will have to go into the actual games settings to set output. A generic rule of thumb is... QAULITY Mode is lower framerate and higher resolution.....PERFORMANCE mode is Higher Framerate at a lower resolution. All in All the Series S is quite impressive for a $250 unit! I cant find a single PC at $250 that can do 1080p gaming at 120fps!

> 3 dayI have resisted getting a gaming system beyond the Switch but I opted for this one based on reviews, price and gaming options. I wanted Hogwarts Legacy and didnt want to play on the computer so I decided on the XBox and my kids are so happy!

> 3 dayMy hubby wanted an Xbox for Christmas and we purchased this one. We had no issues setting it up, and not having to keep up with physical games is nice. You purchase everything digitally and he has bought a subscription to play games online.
