> 3 dayUmbrella serves its purpose. I opens pretty forcefully and is hard to retract the handle when closing. Upon trying to close the umbrella for the first time, I didnt realize how much force it was going to take to push the handle back into retracted position. When I failed to push the handle back properly, it shot back and punched me in the stomach. Which was equally painful and hilarious. Dont recommend having the handle aimed toward your body. (Maybe they could figure out a way to market this for self-defense). Lesson learned and will be closing by applying pressure against the floor.

> 3 dayThis umbrella is your standard rain umbrella size. You can tuck it in your purse. The opacity on this is great though! Its a blackout umbrella. On a hot day with no shade this will come in very handy. Its not too expensive at $17. I tried to see the ceiling light through it, but I could not. I cannot attest to how it performs in rain. I specifically got this for protection from the sun. I would get this again.

> 3 dayworks as expected. Havent use it when it real windy yet to see how it holds up but in light rain with no wind, it works well.

> 3 dayI wanted a compact, heavy duty umbrella to keep in my car. The rain and storms here can be very strong and random with strong wind and rain looking like it goes sideways. This umbrella feels sturdy and heavier than your average umbrella. It only has one button, used to open and close. When pushed to open, it opens quickly right away with no need to click it in place. When pushed to close, it just folds the petals back in and you need to manually push it down. Pushing it down does take a good amount of effort but it feels like thats the tradeoff for its sturdiness and being windproof.

> 3 dayIm not sure if Xixvon is a German or Chinese company. The text in all of the product photos for this umbrella is in German, but Xixvon doesnt sound like a German name. Either way, this umbrella is definitely German quality in terms of the build quality and the materials used. This is my second Xixvon umbrella. I felt that the first one I ordered is the nicest umbrella I have ever owned. I wouldnt be surprised if it lasts longer than I do. I keep that one in my car so that Im always prepared when Im away from home if it starts raining. But I wanted another umbrella that was a bit smaller and lighter to carry in my backpack. This SE version is perfect for my needs. Its small enough to easily fit in a backpack or purse, but the quality is just as good as the larger model I have. If youre looking for a travel size umbrella, this one should be at the top of your list.

Greater than one weekThis XIXVON Umbrella SE is a compact, automatic umbrella that comes with a storage sleeve. The umbrella is lightweight, but sturdy, and opens easily when you push the button – you manually push the umbrella back into the handle to close. I need a compact umbrella that gives full size coverage for thunderstorm season, and this seems to be a good choice. I like that it offers UPF 50+ 99% UV protection, that is a big plus in Florida. Overall, nice quality umbrella that gives good coverage.

> 3 dayThis is a very nice and stylish umbrella that really pops up with you hit the button. So far it is serving well as an interim and potential backup if I can get another of my preferred brand. The biggest issue I have is the spring can be really tight getting it closed, even depressing the button. I have arthritis and it may just be because I loose grip at times, but it is a bit of a handful to get it closed again. It wants to just pop out, which is a plus, just makes it a challenge to keep a steady grip while sliding it back down. *Updated* Spindles broke and stabbed my hand when I went to lash it closed with the strap. I had closed it and went to wrap it closed and got stabbed by spindles that had broke. I am very disappointed and upset. The weather at least is close to full autmunal transition for wearing hoods, but still this means I am out another uv umbrella.
