They say the best boat youll ever have is the one your friend owns....I have found this to be true :) I have had friends with cruisers, speed boats, and wake boats (and have owned one for a short while), I have purchased Xtreme Heaters for all of them as a way to say THANKS for sharing your boats with my family and occasionally contribute gas as well ;) My friends boats are a mix of dry dock, trailered, on a lift, or in the water and none have had issues with these heaters installed.....and we do get down to freezing and below in the winter here in GA.
