YABER Y30 Native 1080P Projector 15000L Brightness Full HD Video Projector 1920 x 1080, ±50° 4D Keystone Correction Support 4k & Zoom,LCD LED Home Theater Projector Compatible with Phone,PC,TV Box,PS4

I purchased this projector because I was looking for a newer projector to replace my old Dell 5100mp projector. I saw this on amazon and decided to give it a try. I was looking for a projector that was less than $500 and could display 1080p. My normally use my projector to watch football games and movies so I was looking for a projector that would give me a clear picture for both. I project onto a 110in pull down screen. My old dell projector was mounted from the ceiling at about 14 ft back from the screen. I also purchased a universal ceiling mount for this Yaber projector. If you are going to ceiling mount the projector you will need to take off the plastic knobs that are underneath the projector. The knobs are on with adhesive so you will need to pull them off. Once you pull them off you will find the holes for mounting. As I mounted the projector on the ceiling from about 14 ft back the image was huge! It was at least 150 in or more. This Yaber projector does not have a lens shift to make the image smaller. Instead, it has a horizontal and vertical zoom feature to fit your screen. Once I got the image lined up with my screen I decided to test out the picture. I have DIRECTV so I turned to a football game to see what the picture would look like. As long as the image on the screen is close up the picture looks crystal clear. However, once the image gets smaller the picture looks pixelated. You can see this on the two pictures I posted of ESPN. I didn’t like the way the image looked while watching football. So I decided to see if maybe when you zoom in that you lose picture quality. So I zoomed out to the normal size which gives you a image between 150-170. Everything looks a lot better. However, for the size of my room I did not want that image size. Also, I wasn’t trying to buy a larger screen when there was nothing wrong with the one I had. Next, I decided to put on a movie on Netflix. I must say, the picture looks awesome when watching Netflix and Blu-ray movies regardless of image size. I didn’t see any pixelation when my image was 110 in or 150+. So if you are only going to watch steaming content or Blu-ray movies then you will love this Yaber projector. As far as the sound, I have my projector hooks up to an Onkyo receiver so I don’t worry about the speakers on the projector. Brightness The projector is advertised as having 6000 lumens. This is definitely not the case. My old dell 5100 mp projector has 3300 lumens and is brighter than this Yaber. When watching the projector during daylight, the image becomes washed out. My dell protector with 3300 lumens is clearer than the Yaber when watching during the day. See the attached pictures. But if you are watching this in a theater room or mainly at night you will be fine. Remote Control The remote is decent. It’s hard to take off to put batteries in. It seems like you are going to break it. You have to pry the back off to put batteries in. Besides that I think the remote is fine. It functions just like any other remote. Connections There are plenty of connections on the back. There are two HDMI ports which is great. You also have two USB ports, av in/out and pc connections. The only connection I tested was the HDMI port. Lens cap There is a lens cap that comes with the projector. It’s pretty flimsy. It would have been great if the lens cap had a string on it to stay attached to the projector but it doesn’t. Over all this is a great projector for the price. If you only plan to watch streaming content or Blu-ray movies then you will love it! If you plan on watching regular tv it won’t look as clear. Or just don’t zoom in and use the actual picture size depending on the throw distance. I decided to return this and go with another projector. I have to have a clear picture when watching regular tv.

Very impressive! I was skeptical about giving this a 5 star review, but after reviewing my test results, I am ok with 5 stars. This is my 3rd projector. The last one was an Epson 2030 1080p. That thing set me back $1200 and served me well for years. But, I had given the Epson away and occasionally missed having a projector. I also didnt want to spend a lot of $ for something I didnt use a lot. Then, I saw the Yaber 1080p projector on Amazon and gave it a try. I used the standard picture setting for the attached animated shots and the soft picture mode to lower the contrast for the computer shot. The animated picture with the better contrast was taken in a dark room. The other two pictures had a 100 watt overhead light on in the room. Both were with a 60 diagonal frame. The good: I cant verify that it puts out 5000 lumens, but it is brighter than my old 2000 lumen Epson. I did not encounter any of the 1 and 2 star review problems. HDMI 1080p BluRay video shows flawlessly with no jumps or stuttering. Picture is actually native 1080 and looks good even in a room that is not dark. Focus over the entire screen is good but not perfect. There is a little fuzziness at the edges if focused at the center but this is not noticeable in 1080p video and text on the edges is still legible as can be seen in the computer shot. Although the image will use less pixels when not set at 0%, the digital zoom (actually a shrink) function is a nice feature to get the picture to match the screen without having to move the projector. The LED light source produces good color rendition and should last many times longer (70,000 hours may be a little optimistic) than conventional projector sources. The built-in speaker produces adequate volume and actually sounds good...much better than I expected, eliminating the need for a sound bar for videos that are mostly talk. Zero cool-down time. Short start-up time. Lots of user-adjustable settings. The gray area: The description on the Amazon page mentions Updated an advanced and silent cooling system with 3 fans running simultaneously. I cannot tell if there is more than 1 fan but whatever is in there runs at a constant speed which can only be set higher using the remote. I measured fan noise on the Low (default) setting at 42-47dB at 1m. Not exactly silent, but maybe something was lost in the translation to English. I dont know why anyone would use the High fan setting as long as the projector is running well on Low. The high setting adds another 3db or so to the noise. My sound meter may not be calibrated so absolute numbers might be off a bit but fan noise is higher than the 25-35dB of 2x-3x more expensive projectors. My old Epson was 27dB and I needed to actually listen for it to notice the fan noise. But then you are paying a lot more for less noise. Noise is not offensive as long as you are not sitting next to the projector. Conclusion: Overall, of the features I tried, everything seemed to work as advertised. I have not tried the VGA analog input, just both HDMI ports. I would recommend (and have recommended) to others as a great value for those not needing a perfect video picture and/or no significant projector noise. Also works well as a business projector displaying text legibly at typical laptop resolutions in a lit conference room.

First, I was extremely disappointed the product box came damaged (although the shipping box was fine). Clearly, someone had at least attempted to open this box before (see first image). The remote control back was also partially snapped on (and in an illogical fashion if you are trying to emphasize how to remove the back). These issues lead me to believe I may have received a previously used unit. Factor that possibility into the image quality portion of this review . . . Even though the box is black and the image on the box depicts the black/silver/charcoal projector, I did receive a white projector (which is what I ordered). The projected image is fabulously bright in (even) a not-perfectly darkened room. I used this in a space with three skylights AND one large archway with an all-glass atrium attached. This room is NEVER fully dark. Even so, at night the image is fantastically bright (even though there is always a fair amount of ambient City light coming in from the skylights and atrium). The image is very good in the evening and even decently visible during the day, although one skylight then washes out a part of the screen. [This was expected, of course, and OK as the projector is intended for use mostly during nights. I might make a retractable shade for the one skylight to enhance daytime use if ultimately necessary.] I am attaching 5 images displayed by the projector, including 2 used in the WORST case scenario -- full daylight. [ Projected images are from the movie A Prairie Home Companion (2006, PictureHouse, distributed by: New Line, Director: Robert Altman). This is from a DVD up-scaled to 1080. I have no doubt Blu-Ray would look even better, but my Mom (for whom I am installing various A/V equipment) surprisingly doesnt have one available at the moment. Three images taken in the dark show great brightness. The MPAA rating screen and the white screen with text show pretty decent uniformity (most projectors -- especially inexpensive ones -- have problems in this area, often with greater center brightness and/or edge washout). The Harold Lloyd ad is a 4:3 aspect image -- the black bars left and right (in a 16:9 projected image!) are, indeed almost perfectly black -- virtually no bleed. So far, so good! In the two daylight images you will note the light wash of the left side of the screen from the skylight just above and to the left of the screen. [This is NOT the projectors fault, obviously!] The displayed images are still viewable, although obviously only a fraction as good as during the night. [I have included one medium-to-dark image (singer) and one image with dramatic contrast between light and dark. Much of the detail is visible even in a very bright room. ] Unfortunately, I am disappointed with the apparent resolution and focusing abilities of the Yaber Y30 projector. The projectors menus were initially almost unreadable when significant (about +37) vertical keystone adjustment was applied (clearly this adjustment is digital, so it drops a LOT of pixels to achieve it!). It also seemed just about impossible to focus at such an angle. I then raised the projector another 17 inches or so and was able to reduce vertical keystone to +16. At that point the menus become reasonably clear and the whole image seems in pretty good focus (which is how all photos accompanying this review were taken). Long term, this shortcoming would not be an issue in THIS installation as a permanent ceiling mount is envisioned, enabling fairly on-axis throws. However, the projector claims to have STRONG keystone adjustment capabilities. It is true in specifications, but not true in image quality (too many pixels dropped? see above)! [I do, however, leave open the possibility that the unit may have been damaged (see first paragraph).] One other significant negative is that the focusing ring is AWFUL. It is extremely thin, not properly knurled and barely protrudes from the housing when focused at optimal projection distance of 9 feet or so; in other words, it is difficult to grasp. Someone with no previous projector experience would likely NOT know how to properly focus this (the manual is very weak in this area, BTW, with just one mention on the graphical features listing). To give an idea how awful this is, I half-expected a MOTORIZED focus feature -- and of course could not find such on the remote or in the menus (since there is no motorized focus at this price point!). [If the projector is ceiling installed and eventually goes out of focus (heat, building vibration, other factors can cause this) -- imagine what a pain (and danger) this POOR FOCUS RING DESIGN could be when up on a ladder. In this particular installation the ceiling is at 10.5 feet! ] If you are planning to often place this projector in different environments, these two issues (keystone and manual focus) are in my opinion a total deal breaker. Another significant disappointment is the remote. The whole back snaps on with very thin, brittle looking/feeling clips; there is no battery compartment door. Im pretty certain these clips would break after replacing batteries once or twice -- especially with an impatient user like my Mom. Also on the remote: projector orientation (front, rear-screen, upside down/ceiling mount) is a very prominent button. An unskilled newbie (again, like my Mom) might hit the button and be freaked out that everything is mirrored/backwards/upside down. A better option would be to have that button invoke a graphical menu which displays all 4 options on screen (in proper orientations, that would be EASY!) -- and then select the proper one with the <>^v buttons . . . The speakers are barely adequate (although, again, in this installation moot due to a sound system being available). Be aware of this if you are contemplating traveling presentations. I am trying the WiMiUS Newest P28 6800 Lumens tomorrow. It seems to address all the issues and their website is significantly better maintained/updated. They seem possibly more trustworthy in this sphere. This Yaber is going back. While the brightness is impressive, there are just too many shortcomings to ignore, especially if my Mom decides she doesnt want to use it (installed) long-term and it becomes a travel companion to someone else.

Upgraded an old VGA Epson unit to this one. Great price, fan not too loud, easy to set up good picture quality. Plugged in my Roku and am overall pleased with the purchase. Only gripe and drop to 4 starts would be that when I went to plug in a Blu Ray player, there is no audio that comes thru the HDMI. So I have had to buy a separate amp to pull off the audio. But I guess I can justify the extra cost with very friendly price point.

I rarely submit reviews, but my recent experience with this Yaber Y30 projector was significant enough that I want to share it with others. Section 1 - Background and Selection I am a professional electrical engineer and long time home cinema enthusiast. I am highly experienced configuring home theater systems for family, friends, and clients of my creative services business. Of particular recent interest is the increasing number of folks who already have a relatively high end home system (or two) and want a budget level big screen casual viewing experience for outdoor gatherings, club meetings, children’s rooms, etc. I’m a good example of this circumstance. I have a well established home theatre setup in my home centered around a 70” 4K, HDR flat panel display, but I wanted to configure and install an occasional use, low budget, larger screen home theatre system in my 40’x40’ garage. Despite the low budget, it had to be well across the line of acceptable brightness and visual quality to entertain discerning viewers. I already had a budget 5.1 channel home theatre receiver, 100” pull down screen, ceiling mount, good video sources, and all the surround speakers on hand. All that remained was to choose a projector. I decided that my budget for the projectors would be limited to under $300 for a 1080p native projector with at least 1500 lumens brightness. I already owned a couple recent vintage 720p incandescent bulb projectors from Viewsonic and Epson that I used for business presentations. Even though the projectors cost between $350-$500 on sale, I found the images to be totally unacceptable for entertainment viewing, even in a totally dark room due to lack of resolution, brightness, and contrast. I tend to keep up with the technology and I already knew I would only consider LED projectors to take advantage of the long service life, potentially lower fan noise, and advancing display quality, particularly 1080p native capability. CAUTION! Many vendors play fast & loose with input resolution capability versus actual native display output. A projector calming HD or 4K compatibility may only be 720p (or lower) actual native display output. I quickly narrowed my search down to a handful of candidate projectors from Vankyo, Apeman, Goodee, and Yaber. After extensively reading online user reviews and viewing far too many YouTube videos about the candidate projectors, I ultimately selected the Yaber Y30 because it met my required specs and it’s consistently positive reviews, good customer service reports, and the availability of the $50 discount coupon on Amazon. I ended up paying $238 delivered. I recall just a couple years ago it was hard to find any 1080p HD projector for under $500. Needless to say that despite the good reviews I had low expectations for the Yaber Y30. But what the heck, Amazon has a great, no risk return policy. : ) Section 2 - Physical Mounting I had no problems removing the rubber feet to access the ceiling mount attachment holes and I located the projector at the ideal 3 meter distance and around 18 above center from the 100” screen. I ended up increasing the distance a bit to totally fill the screen edge to edge as the digital zoom controls only reduce the image. I had no issues using the keystone correction to fine tune the image to the screen and I used no zoom adjustment whatsoever. Section 3 - Startup and Configuration I had all my components pre-installed - a 4th generation HD Apple TV, a Roku 4K, and a 1080p DVD player, all going into HDMI inputs on a budget Dolby 5.1 Dolby surround receiver. The receiver HDMI out goes to HDMI 1 on the Yaber Y30. Many online reviews seemed somewhat put off by the manual focus. I was not. I liked the smooth and precise rotation of the lens. I had no problem with the manual focusing. I also had no problem with the remote control battery installation. Some reviews stated they could not figure out how to open the remote. There is even a YouTube video explaining this. On my remote Yaber had left one of the snaps “un-snapped” so it was visually clear how to split the seam and open it. A clever solution. I use the Joe Kane series of Home Theatre calibration DVD’s and created a User Picture configuration somewhere between the built in Standard (which I felt was too dark and crushed the blacks) and Dynamic (which totally washed out the whites). The resultant pluge pattern, though far from “perfect”, was totally acceptable in a fully darkened room and even held up with some dim lighting well to the rear of the projector. The screen alignment, focus, and sharpness test patterns were very acceptable after adjustment. I found the Yaber remote to be simple and straightforward to use, though somewhat limited in the level of adjustments available to the advanced user. You can tweak the brightness, contrast, and color saturation of the image and that’s about it. For some reason the Tint adjustment was greyed out. Most people would be satisfied with the built in settings based upon the source material and room lighting. Once I satisfied myself that I could not tweak the image any further, I invited some friends over whom I knew were home theatre enthusiasts and had a good eye when it came to projectors. Section 4 - Viewing Experience I have to state that despite my thorough reading of many dozens of favorable user reviews, I had low expectations going into my viewing tests of the Y30. My 720p bulb projectors were completely unsatisfactory for serious big screen viewing despite being from major brand names and costing hundreds more. Other mini LED projectors I had seen over recent years were interesting, but still fell short of anything I would be willing to view content on. I used some Joe Kane HD DVD video demos, Apple TV+ material, and the Big Buck Bunny and Jacob + Katie Schwarz Costa Rica YouTube videos as critical source material. In general, myself and my friends were favorably impressed with the video performance of the Yaber Y30 - and we are not easily impressed. Watching animated content was particularly impressive and the Apple TV Arcade gaming experience was very good. The image is noticeably brighter in the center than at the surrounding edges and there is a bit of loss of focus at the edges as well, but these well known aberrations of “budget” projectors were far less pronounced on the Y30, quite negligible in fact during normal, non-test pattern viewing. Overall, brightness and contrast had an unexpected level of “punch” with high quality source material, even evoking a few “wows!’ from my friends. Would I like it to be a bit brighter? Sure. But once I tweaked the factory built in settings it was surprisingly good. As expected, the video impact is best in a totally dark room, but we really had no problem having a dimly lit serving area on a table behind us without degrading the viewing experience. This is critical as folks need to have some light to navigate around a room safely, grab a beverage and snacks, and get back to their seats comfortably. As Dolby 5.1 surround was provided by the receiver, no attempt was made to judge the quality of the built in speakers. However, we took careful note of the fan noise, including at the High setting, and found it to be completely satisfactory, even in quiet movie sequences. Section 5 - Final Conclusions 1. The Yaber Y30 provides a more than adequate, visually impressive, enjoyable viewing experience, even in a dimly lit room. 2. The Yaber Y30 is easy to setup and simple to use. They keystone correction was excellent. 3. Fan noise at the highest setting is not intrusive or objectionable. 4. The Yaber Y30 has a “quality” look and feel to it. 5. I was impressed with the lens quality, size, and ease of focusing. There was nothing “cheap” about it. 6. Even at full list price, the Yaber Y30 is an exception value. You would be hard pressed to find a better bang for your buck.

Starting off, cant beat the quality to price on this projector, but I think expectations should be proportional to the product and price. Its a good budget projector for causal use, its not in the same league as high-end projectors nor should you expect it to be. Its not going to be super bright in a bright room, color accuracy isnt great but Im not trying to watch 4k movies on it either. I have been using this projector as my bedroom TV for watching tv and movies with my wife after the kids go to bed for almost three years, It sits on a dresser at the foot of the bed and is projected about 8 feet against a light-colored wall with no screen. Overall, its been great. I suggest keeping the box for as long as you have the projector in-case you have any issues. -Setup was simple. (Blu-ray and Google TV) The projector uses a digital keystone correction so not great but honestly not a big deal for my use case. I used a YouTube video with test pattern to get it all aligned and focused. - Picture Quality is clear and Bright even with our bedside table lamps on. During the day if we have the curtains closed to block out direct sunlight its dimmer but still watchable. See my warranty exchange below for some more details. - Sound It does have stereo speakers and for the first year thats all we used, and is more than adequate for most casual usage, however as I dont move the projector around, I got a nice set of PC Speakers with subwoofer and connected it to the projector 3.5mm audio out for much fuller sound. - The remote works and is basic, but I only use it for getting into the settings, otherwise I use my google tv remote to turn it on and adjust volume. **Warranty Exchanged** As noted on other reviews I did start to get some brown spots appearing on the screen (again this is not a high-end projector and it was 2 years after I got it that they appeared), however this projector has a three-year warranty. I contacted the company, and they had me send my old one back and they sent a new replacement. This is why I say keep the box. To be honest I didnt realize the projector had the three year warranty until I was about to throw out the box. The projector does have a filter in the front that needs to be cleaned out. My projector was not in a dusty environment but even with regular dusting and cleaning it must have gotten too warm.

Just finished installing the unit . It was a replacement for a SVGA projector which was $179 on Amazon Had it about 9 months .. picture was OK....... should have returned it ... now my neighbor has it as a gift.. he is thrilled !!! Setup was pretty straight forward .. manual a is little obtuse.... but I am a A/V techie so no, problem for me .. might be for a newbie The picture is about 25 % better than my other unit .. it replaced . Which was also a LED .. not anything like the hype or the customer pictures .not even close Maybe I have a knockoff .....but I read the warning on website. It’s the right vendor I have 5 - 4K sets Ranging from 60”. To a 82” Samsung QLED. .. nothing beats that picture .. period To be fair ... the price point was very good and a have 2 high quality 100 inch screen one behind the other on my ceiling Throw distance is about 3 meters with an adjustable mount on a bracket which is on the wall just above my sofa head hight Angle is about 15 degrees from horizontal I real like the extensive adjustments for keystone and y and z axis and a manual zoom setting I can use either of my screens with a minimum amount of adjustment.. one is a second purchase to get a better picture from my original unit.. there is a difference .. but you only know that when you can compare screens at home so if you buy a second screen be ready to send back the worst of the 2 or keep both like I did as the Prime return window had expired So.. I am keeping the unit because its use reduces the screen time on my 75” and 82”: Samsung. UlLTRA HD And QLED sets The picture quality can be enhanced by using a setup DVD whicch I have ..and watching Blu Ray and Streaming movies on my fire stick I Also purchase a Bluetooth adapter to use my 60” sound bar with my QLED set .. although the units speakers are very good... If that is your choice also I have it set up with an HDMI to my home theater system .. but rarely use that as the sound bar is just fine I would recommend it if you nothing to compare it to.. like a good quality 4K set or you want a big picture on the cheap...maybe for outside, parties ... it is very portable and you can use a white sheet for a screen on a neutral wall, garage door or whatever.. and sound is loud enough for a large group,or hook up Bluetooth speakers .. .... like in some customer pics.. summer is here For indoor use .. With a good quality 100” ceiling mount roll down screen from Amazon ....with this unit you in for about $375:+ Not bad... or get their free screen with purchase ......l not sure what quality that one is .... but probably better than a sheet...

This is an update review: Initially I had issues with the bulb burning out, but customer service reached out to me and sent me a replacement. Very impressed with the quality of the product and the quality of the customer service!

1-month review. Per the price tag, this is a budget $200-225 generic projector. That said, there looks to be 1000s of entries in this weight class. My projector application is ceiling mounted in a garage which weve converted into our in-home gym during quarantine. Projector needs to be bright enough to handle some usage during dusk hours with the garage open and daytime hours with the garage closed despite ambient light from windows along the top of our garage door. Night time any/all projectors should work. Its the ability to work with ambient light that I care about. I am not picky about video quality; 1080P is the minimum. Primary source is a TCL Alto 8+ Soundbar with built-in FireTV so the projector audio has never been used. Based on reviews, decided to replace my another budget (lightning deal) projector, the GooDee BL98 with this YABER Y30 model. Both models are in the $200-225 range. The GooDee had pretty terrible, washed out colors with a clear lack of brightness in my application. The Yaber was significantly better across the board. Best part is that the FireTV remote can control the Yaber project power on/off so I could ditch the Yaber remote entirely. The Yaber is the rare projector with both vertical and horizontal keystones making it more accommodating for different throw environments. Lux vs Lumens Name brand projectors all advertise lumens as it is the total output of visible light from a light source making for easy comparison between products. Its how you compare all light bulbs! The generic projectors choose to report lux as a way to confuse consumers. Lux is the amount of light that is cast on a surface and is dependent on the distance and angle from the bulb to the surface. Never do the generic projectors tell you the distance and angle theyre using to calculate the lux of their product. Moreover, the consumers application will undoubtedly vary from the manufacturers chosen angle/distance. Thus, the generic manufacturer chooses an arbitrary angle/distance so that they can report much higher lux values giving the appearance that their projectors are in the same class as their competitors / more expensive projectors. As an example, they could decide to throw at 1m (3 ft) away from the screen, dead center on a tripod and report 15,000 lux. Is that better than a 4,000 lumens projector? Probably not! Is it useful? Nope, nobody sets their projector up like this. Does let me report a big number for my product and do consumers like big numbers so they buy more of my product? Yes, they do. tldr; lux is a joke. Since lumens isnt provided, the only real test is to get it, mount it, and see for yourself. Return it if its not to your liking and punish these manufacturers for providing fake brightness metrics. Yaber Y30 advertises as 7200 L which is in lux. The GooDee BL98 used to have 6800 lux on its product page but thats been replaced with 1 candela lux (LoL). My original garage projector was the Anker Nebula Mars II which is rated at 300 lumens. This was not good enough unless it was the darkest of nights. The GooDee is probably 2x that but with poor picture quality. The Yaber is likely 2.5 - 3.0x the Anker with decent picture quality. My living room name brand projector (Optoma HD39HDR) is rated at 4000 lumens and would blow away all of these garage projectors but at 4x the cost. Because I was able to try an inferior model in this same price class, the Yaber looks like a champion and a keeper at this price point. Your mileage may vary.

Wow, This is one awesome projector for the price! Great actual 1080p native video that looks like a 1080p tv, but one that you can make the screen go up to 200 inches. It only weighs a couple of pounds and is very easy to mount. You just remove the 4 sticky bumpers at the bottom of the feet to reveal where the mount screws go. I had it up in less than 20 minutes with the -Vivo universal adjustable ceiling mount (MOUNT-VPO1W)-. For awhile I was searching for something decent priced and at least close to tv quality for my new living/ theatre room but had no luck sub 200$. The low lumens and horrible picture quality just didn’t cut it. Then I saw this for under 300$. I have my screen at 120 inches and built a stand for around it so all it needed was the right projector. For us, it was this! It supports 4K and HD quality games movies and videos, and It has a really great picture with everything we use. Even in the daytime with the sun shining in the picture is still great. I also bought an HDMI switch to 5 HDMI ports so we can easily switch between cable box, firestick, Wii, ps4, and our pandora box 6 without always hooking and unhooking HDMI wires from the projector. *Note* This is by no means a 4K quality projector. it is a native 1080p which looks good even at 200”. If you want a 4K projector (not one that just supports it) it’s going to cost you a couple of grand, but if you just want something with good tv quality picture and good brightness so it can be viewed during the day in your living room, this is what you want. *When I say can be viewed during the day I dont mean outside in direct sunlight, but even with the sun shining in from 3 different windows with slightly see-through curtains it works great and we have no problem with viewing during the daytime, or anytime for that matter. The speakers aren’t terrible, but I use my surround sound which I recommended or at least some speakers. The fan being somewhat adjustable is a nice feature and to us, it runs very quiet. I really like that the vertical and horizontal keystone is controlled by the remote and not manually. It works very well to get nice straight edges easily. The only way to make the screen bigger is to move the projector back farther because there is no zoom-in feature on this. That’s the one feature I wish it did have, but it does have an up and down “backward zoom” to ensure your screen fits perfectly in the space you want it. We use this as our main tv over our 4K 70” smart sharp tv (which says something!) I’ve included a bunch of pictures that’ll help with getting an idea of the picture quality. One other thing to note is *if you’re not getting any sound from your fire stick, cable box, or any other device it’s because of Dolby sound. Go to your audio settings and turn it off and you’ll be good to go. Also,* if your video isn’t coming through or it’s skipping in and out of audio and video, try another HDMI cable. I had that problem when I received my projector but it was a faulty HDMI, changed it and it worked perfectly. Very happy with my purchase and so is the family! 5 stars and highly recommended. *2 months in and everything is still perfect! We use this every day and have yet to run into any problems. Great purchase and worth every penny!
