Yak Attack Round Base Fish Finder Mount, Black - FFP-1005

I think the previous reviews are right on. I will just pass along a couple of other things I learned.

Once you figure out to squeeze, lift and spin the bottom to get the track bar out and clamped down its easy to install but the initial use is not intuitive. I am using this to mount my Garmin Striker Vivid 4CV to the H Rail on my Hobie Outback and its fantastic.

Ready out of the box... pay attention when mounting the base

Like, what? The silver screws that come with that mount the flat part to the round piece that bolts onto the rest of the amount are too short. I can easily pull it apart with all 4 screws in. I thought maybe the black screws hold this piece on, but no. They are really too short for the base. By a lot. How can I trust a $700 fish finder on something like that?

Very easy to install. Mounting holes lined up perfectly for my Garmin Striker 4.

Completely useless - no way to attach my Garmin to it. All the screws it comes with are too thick or long

I purchased this product as a gift for my boyfriend and he absolutely loves it, I also purchased the fish finder for him, he has been using it since then and has no complaints.

Easy to install and adjust. Mount Garmin fish finder.

Works like it should.

Feels cheap, and is not very sturdy once installed. Over priced!!
