These contact sensors are fairly simple to install around the home on entry points such as doors, windows and garage doors. One point I would raise is that with it being an abnormal shape it can sometimes be difficult to fit on doors with less padding around the edging or on PVC doors. However, they dont have to be directly touching each other to make a connection. Take note that the EF range does not support the new Yale Sync systems and are for the Smart/Easy Fit ranges only.

They are just not designed to fit a bit not squared doors. If your door has an indentation or if you are using it with french doors it would just not work well and you would have to tinker with it
