> 24 hourBlank Yamaha key was easily cut by locksmith and works perfectly. Anyone who needs a new key and wants an OEM key would do well to purchase this key. The locksmith has Yamaha blanks, but they did not have the plastic Yamaha piece. This may be a little more expensive than a general blank key, but if you want an “original” key this is the way to go.

> 24 hourI think it was a great key blank and should have worked, but the place that I had make the key did a horrible job. So 18 bucks later I have nothing. Chance you take, but that makes the 18$ a little too much. Ironically, I bought 3 keys for 10$ for my husbands bike and of course they cut that key great!

> 24 hourMy bike only came with one key and I wanted to have a spare but not generic. I like this actually said Yamaha on it. It was a bit pricier than I wanted for just one key but overall Im happy with it. Youll need to find an actual locksmith to rekey it, the kiosks wont do it.

> 24 hourI have a 2015 fz-09. I bought this key and got it cut at local hardware store (manually, no automatic machine could do it) for free. I tested it and it worked as it should. Definitely worth the price.

> 24 hourFor some reason, Yamaha does not save the key codes for their products. So now I have to find someone to make a key. But I now have a blank.
