Great remote!

Perfect replacement for the lost remote.

My old remotes volume up and mute buttons stopped working so I bought this Yamaha GENUINE replacement; came next day, popped the batteries in, and worked right away like a charm! Tossed the old remote and Im good to go for another 4 years! Perfect! Always buy genuine factory parts!

The remote was identical to the one which came with my unit. It was brand new and works perfectly. I’m sure I will get many years of enjoyment from my professional entertainment system. Thank you again!

Ive had this stereo for several years now, really like it. The remote not so much. The first one lasted a few years and just stopped working one day. Ordered a new one. put batteries in and immediately started working. No syncing, no settings to set. The problem is that if they fall from a height of more than about two inches and land on anything harder than bubble wrap, something inside of it breaks and no more remote. Twice now from a height of about two feet from the sofa and both times just stopped working. So if you do get this remote, buy 2 or 3 then you can replace them as they break instead of having to wait for the new to arrive. From now on, Im just changing the volume by hand.

Wow! Just had to put new batteries in this remote and now this remote works my Yamaha receiver. No set up needed. Every thing works now, volume, on/off etc

Dont know why the original failed, but the replacement is very nice. Seems lighter than the original. Maybe not as sturdy? Time will tell. The original remote lasted about 8 years of daily use. So lets see how long this one lasts.

As seems to be the pattern with the Yamaha speaker set remote, mine eventually pooped out on the volume button increase. Im glad there is an inexpensive option for a new remote on Amazon. Remote (and volume adjust) worked perfectly upon receipt. Remote is going strong three months in.

Somehow we lost our remote for our Yamaha receiver. I ordered this and its identical to the one I had for five years. All I did was put batteries in it and everything worked. There was nothing to set up or do to use it. Simple and perfect.
