*Update: The sellers customer service rep actually contacted me directly after my initial review and offered to send a replacement to arrive within 1-2 weeks. It actually arrived in less than a weeks time. Our subsequent moving made it so it took a few months before I was able to hook up this power supply on my Xbox here overseas, but Im pleased to report it has been working for almost 2 months so far. It is still somewhat noisy (maybe slightly less so than the first one), but its working fine on the 220v power over here thus far and thats whats most important. The customer service rep was helpful and got me the replacement well within the time-frame promised. Original Review: This item only worked for about 4 days, during which time it made an noticeable (and IMO somewhat excessive) amount of noise. I had the adapter plugged into a surge protector and kept the adapter brick in the open where it wouldnt overheat, but still it died. All I can say is Im glad I tested it out before we moved overseas and that I still have my original adapter for now. Its always possible Im unlucky and just got a defective one, but at this point with having been sent a clearly defective adapter I have to rate this one star. Currently returning this item and hoping I can find a different brand of Xbox 360 Slim adapter that works at 220V before we move.

Its too noisy, its really disturbing if youre not playing with volume up.

As you can see in the listing title it says “Xbox 360 AC Adapter Power Cord” and does not reference “SLIM” at all. So we ordered it and it only fits the slim so it went back!!

Thanks for the power supply. Ours was old and very noise. It acutally died! new one is great- you cant hear it working. We are satisfied thus far.
