YETI Bear Proof Locks

Well they are two master locks with long shanks probably cheaper If not yeti brand, however they work and are the right size and look good keyed alike

Works perfect for vacation wwhen you don’t want anyone to snag stuff out of your cooler while traveling

Great locks so far keeps yeti cooler closed and secure. We will see how it handles the salt water on the boat

fits my grizzly cooler perfectly. very little room to even crack open the cooler.

These fit my Yeti 35 perfectly. I live in bear country, but so far, the bears havent been interested in my Yeti. I will update this if my Yeti ever has a real bear encounter. Additionally, we were able to use one of these locks for a boat trailer hitch on my friends van. (My friend couldnt find their lock and this one fit perfectly) - the U-shape is longer than normal Masterlocks, so the lock has a few extra uses, which is nice.

Product is a Christmas gift. Came as advertised and appears to be a good product. Prime delivery for the win!

Can bears pick other key or combination locks? What makes this more special than the $5 master lock I can pick up at the corner store? Serious question, asking for a friend.

I initially bought another lock with a 2” shackle. However, that lock body was too fat to work with Yeti coolers. This Master Lock is a special “thin” version that works perfectly. I do wish it had some seals around the lock openings to prevent water from getting into the lock itself.
