YETI Rambler 46 oz Bottle, Vacuum Insulated, Stainless Steel with Chug Cap

Okay as you can see my yeti was crushed, now bear with me on this. It was run over by a 12k pound skid steer granted the capacity is greatly diminished it still holds fluid. Before it was run over it out performed my hydro flask. Keeps ice in it all day long for a couple days. Extremely durable and would recommend a yeti product to anyone.

This product is extremely well made.

The lid screws on in two parts, and both parts seal well. The top lid opens to a smaller opening for drinking from. The bottom lid comes off for filling and adding ice. It insulates well, if I fill it with room temperature water and one tray of ice in the evening, by morning the water is still icy cold. With 1.5 trays of ice, there is still ice in the morning, and the ice pieces stay ice until later in the day. The handle on the lid is convenient, durable, and easy to hold. Ive had this bottle for about four months now (and use it daily) and it insulates as well now as when I got it. (I only handwash it though). The finish is also still nice looking. The bottle itself is pretty heavy, which is understandable for a double walled metal bottle that holds almost a quart of water. Overall I love this bottle and use it all the time except for the occasions when I will be walking and carrying it for long distances; in that case I use a lighter weight bottle 48oz plastic nalgene bottle.

I am a big fan of Yeti, but this one kind of disappointed me. It does not keep ice as ice at all and the cold water is losing temperature too fast in my opinion.

I bought this to take on the job site, hoping it would keep liquid cold during the day. Its very important that I stay well hydrated during the day due to a kidney condition. My usual method is to mix up 32 oz of Gatorade in the jug the night before, then put it in the fridge overnight. Next morning I fill it to the top with ice cubes, and off I go for the day. We quit at 3:00 pm every day, and by that time all the ice is melted and the liquid is starting to get warm. I try to set it out of the sun to help it stay as cold as possible. Im glad I dont need it to last much longer than that.
