Love this Gallon Yeti! has twist off top with wide opening enough to be able to put your hand in and clean! Like that the small drinking cap is magnetic! sticks to the top while you pour or drink from it. Im loving the Yellow color too!

Love it, honestly, was debating if I really needed something like it, but it seriously keeps my water fresh and away from outside influence, unless you treat it like an unwanted child and leave it in the sun in the car with windows up and all, then it will get a bit warm, but not insanely hot, which is cool because it wont scortch while drinking. Just keep it clean routinely and you will love it. Only complaint I have is, I really bwish it came with like a Small sock or rubber base cover as to not be a safety concer to the passers by. Like with the sleeve on its cool, but on the days I do t want the pocket sleeve and want to travel light. A fabric sock or rubber base cover would be great to cover the base and not have to worry so much about where to place it, and accidentally bumping. Also the borrow is prone to scrapes and the like, possiblity of rust too, so would make sense to at least have the option to buy. Instead you could buy a mount for the back of your car. Like wtf is that for buddy. Conventional use please. Thank you.

I’m a excavator operator and I’d just buy the gallons at 7/11. But by 11 the waters already warm and nobody likes drinking warm water when you’re working hard. Probably best purchase I’ve done in a while. Now I’m drinking about 2 gallons a day, get lots of compliments as well. And I’m sure you can use it for self defense lol. I love it!

Before buying this product more than three years ago, I was drinking from plastic water bottles or refilling plastic gallon jugs of water. Despite the gallon jugs being HDPE, I started to notice a stinging in my throat from the plastic degrading or something after dozens of refills. Then came along this purchase, and it has been nothing short of perfect. Its easy to clean, easy to drink from (once you figure out a way to hold it, and assuming you dont mind the funny looks you get), and keeps water cold for an incredible length of time. From a full refill with a layer of ice cubes on top, the rambler kept the water ice cold for as long as it took for me to drink it all, around 18 hours. Mind you, it was a good bit of ice, but also the sheer size of the rambler allows it to have a large vacuum-insulated space surrounding it, which is how it keeps things so cold. I cannot comment on how it performs for hot beverages or stews or that kind of thing, as Ive only ever used it for cold water. Cleaning is a breeze as the large mouth of the rambler with its lid removed is more than sufficient to reach my whole hand and arm inside. One thing Ive found a little tricky to clean are the threads of the screw-on lid for the spout. Soaking it a little and then scraping with a paper towel seems to do the trick well enough though. And for anyone who has trouble getting the whole top off of the rambler (believe me, I did too for quite a while), a good trick is to get it on the counter at chest height, wrap your right arm around the steel body of it, then put your left hand on the vertical part of the handle, thumb at the top at the rubber grip, and the rest of your left hands fingers nearer the handles screw. Then pull your left hand leftwards while your right hand/arm keeps the body of the jug stationary. The lid should come off with some force applied.

What caused me to give this 4 stars instead of 5? In order to prevent it from leaking, I have to CRANK the lid down so hard that it takes everything my wife and I combined have in us to unscrew it to clean and refill it, one holding it and the other unscrewing it. And both of us are large strong people. If the lid is just normally tight, it leaks around the rim of the lid like a sieve. And, no, its not cross-threaded, it screws on smoothly and easily. Pros: Everything else. If it werent for the need to use superhuman strength to close and open the thing, Id want to give it 6 stars. Sturdy bottle, sturdy handle, magnetic holder for pour spout lid works great, this thing is a tank.

Very satisfied, I decided to splurge on myself for my birthday with the Yeti. I drink a gallon of water everyday and for years, Ive drank it was as it warmed throughout the day. Ive finally decided Im older now and deserve some cold water on the hotter days at work. This will keep ice for about 48 hours honestly, I bought two, 6 big cube trays for cheap and it was all well worth it. Trust me I was skeptical at first because for the price I could of got 2 or maybe 3 cheaper brand, but at the end of the day I only need one currently. Im a firm believer in that you get what you pay for and I believe if I would have went cheaper I wouldnt be as satisfied. **For the people that complained about the lid, it does help to open the cap first to help release the vacuum seal when opening. I will agree the lid IS tough at times (I find it most difficult in the mornings) but thats what makes the insulation so good. I have left this in my car on 90+ degree days, in the sun and still the water has been cold enough to give me brain freeze. Also! Side note, this can also be used as a small cooler for a couple sandwiches, etc., Or can be used for hot soup!!

Came without a cap on it, disappointing but it doesn’t take away from the yeti itself, just poor shipping.

At first i was saying its way over priced and it kinda is, but its super durable and its been keeping my water cold and ice still ice for days at a time. I work in construction here in Hawaii where the suns hot and you NEED to drink a lot of water, this thing does exactly what i need it to do, to keep my water ice cold everytime i drink from it. Ive seen other jugs on the job sites ive been on and you see a lot of cracked covers, broken handles, and a lot of dented ones. So far its been taking the abuse well(i do take care of my stuff). Magnet on the top to hold the cap is awesome and super strong, love it. I have read before i bought this that its hard to take of the lid, yes it is hard sometimes but if your a man it shouldnt be so hard where you cant get it off lol

I bought this jug in May and used it all through the summer while I worked as a lifeguard on the beach. Our 7-hour-straight shifts mean a gallon of water, sometimes more, is necessary. However, I was tired of the cheap plastic jugs that leak all over my face when I try to drink directly from them. So I splurged and spent a day and a halfs pay on this jug. Pros of the Yeti jug: It never leaks. It holds ice all day in direct sunlight and 90-degree-plus temperatures. The magnetic cap is neat. The nozzle is good to chug from. Its stainless steel so it never rusts, despite having been dropped in the ocean and the sand. Cons: Filled with water, it weighs nearly 15 pounds- much heavier than the cheap plastic jugs. On the days when I had to walk to my stand carrying the jug in my hand it was a killer. I would routinely do bicep curls with it as a joke. The jug gets scratched very easily. It also got dented in the top edge early on, and although it was only cosmetic, plastic jugs dont get dented. Its EXPENSIVE. Overall, Im satisfied with my purchase. If the huge price tag isnt too off-putting, Id recommend it.
