> 3 dayI just received my Nordic Purple Yeti this week and have not had the opportunity to use it, so my review is based on the Yeti I have had for 9 years that is durable, great for travel and sturdy. It keeps my food and drinks cold for 2 or more days in summer, in Floridas heat and I have always been pleased with it. So why did I need another Yeti??? Because they made a freaking purple one, to be more specific, a freaking Nordic Purple one. So, my primary reason for buying this Yeti is because it is Purple. Second reason, it holds bottles of wine perfectly. So color me Freaking Nordic Purple happy!

> 3 day4/5 stars only because I realized later this model is not bear-proof. It seems like Yeti could have figured out a way to make that happen. Ill take responsibility for not paying enough attention but still I think they can earn another star by changing the design. Otherwise, we love this thing. Would buy from Yeti again.

> 3 dayI guess were just not Yeti fans. We bought one for car travel and sent it back because we couldnt get any more in it than another cooler we already have. I think it would be great for camping where no electricity is available, but we stop at hotels with refrigerators, unpack and then repack in the morning. It was just an extravagance for us, but might not be for others.

> 3 dayGreat cooler. Keeps things cold for long periods. We made a mistake of not ordering one with wheels and handle. These things are heavy, especially when loaded with food. I recommend getting a version with wheels or buying a dolly to move it if you want one of these.

> 3 dayJust like you would expect, Yeti is a good brand. Keeps things cold for a long time, this cooler has a lot of room. The only draw back is that it is somewhat heavy. If you need it for a long trip, an all day camping adventure or whatever, it will take care of your food and drink. We use a frozen water bottle to keep it cool longer and it will last for several days

> 3 dayi guess with all the hype maybe I was expecting more. But it didnt seem to keep the ice that much longer than a regular cooler I had. I will say I like how sturdy and rugged it is. Also how it has the strap on it.

> 3 dayI need ice drinking water at the jobsite. I keep 1 or 2 six packs on ice. Orange-Home Depot cooler with a spigot has been great. Don’t need to open it for drinking water and that keeps dirty hands out of the ice and also keeps it sealed for best insulation. BUT THE YETI is supposed to keep ice 2-3 days longer. SO that would be LESS $ for ice each week. IT DOES NOT and you have to open it $every time you want a drink. NOT worth 10X-$ the cost
