I bought this YOC Bolt Size and Thread Gauge to help me identify the size and thread pitch of nuts and bolts. It is a handy tool that is easy to use and comes with a variety of sizes to cover most applications. I would recommend this tool to anyone who works with nuts and bolts on a regular basis.

If you are anything like me and do some DIY repairs you end up with a selection of oddball nuts, bolts and screws which were left over from a project or spare from assembling something. This makes identifying them easy. Not sure why I didnt buy a set earlier.

Im pretty good at estimating thread sizes by eye but once in a while the metric vs english will screw me up. This set makes it easy to be sure.

This saves time and also, for most of us, car wear plus gas or electricity, whatever the car runs on. I can think of more than a dozen times just over the last year or so when I took several trips to the hardware store just for the right bolts or nuts and nothing else. It is so much easier when I know exactly what I need.

The YOC bolt size and thread gauge is perfect for someone like me who is terrible and guessing the correct size of a bolt or thread. I often take a sample piece to HD and use their in-store guides to establish the correct size. This allows me to figure out the correct size in the workshop and know what is needed for a job. Very sturdy built set of all the most common sizes. I removed one star not for the quality of the product, but I did feel the set is a little overpriced for what you are getting.

For those of us who struggles to find the right screw or nut size, this thread checker is what you need. It comes both standard and metric sizes.

These sizers and guide in imperial and metric are perfect for identifying bolts and nuts that have gathered outside of where there proper size locations have been. They are easy to use and very helpful in organizing all those bolts and nuts you might have lying around. Definitely a great addition to my toolbox!

There have been many times that I need a specific bolt or fastener and I do my best to guess the size and thread pitch for what I need. With this metric and imperial set of thread gauges, there will be no more guessing. I will know exactly what I need. Ill be going to the hardware store knowing what I need and will save a lot of time trying to guess or purchasing the wrong fastener and having to make another trip.
