Excellent thin cutoff wheels. Keep in mind that these are THIN. As a result, you cant manhandle these like thicker wheels. These require a firm, stable hand, or otherwise youll end up with a ragged chipped edge real quick. I used these to cut sheet metal, a range of nails and screws all of the way up to some 1/2 rebar. While thinner wheels do cut easier, since there is less friction due to the smaller contact area, that also makes them less durable. These are best suited for more detailed cuts, and on thinner metals like sheet metal, nails and screws and softer metals like aluminum. Still, I did make it through the rebar, but to be honest, I failed the first time while freehanding the rebar. After securing the rebar in a vise, I was able with a steady hand, cut through all of the way with no issues. With that said, I still think these are best for lighter duty, and not as an all around cutoff wheel. Still given the low price of about .36 cents each, versus more than double from HF for a thicker wheel, they are a good low cost alternative for MOST of the times a cutoff wheel is called for.
