The design is just on one side. The fabric of the bag is tightly woven and the stitching is strong and well done. The note card is sturdy paper stock with rose colored foil print and trim. The note card unfolds to reveal ruled lines inside with plenty of room to write a nice message. This is a thoughtful and useful gift for a sister and reminds her always that she is loved.

I got this for my mother to store all of her small items in next to her chair. It seems sturdy and and can hold quite a few things: pens, pocket calender, tweezers, etc. The zipper is easy to operate and looks like it will hold up well.
