Greater than one weekUsed it to soften the edges on hard maple picture frame moldings and was satisfied with the results;branded name bits would not have done any better especially when $15 of their cost is shipping....

> 3 dayMakes nice clean cuts. Havent used it long enough to comment on durability and life. So far, no signs of losing its sharpness, but Ive only been cutting pine.

12-06-2025I bought these Yonico router bits due to their quality for price. High grade finish and build. It did not burn the wood and leaves a clean, crisp and smooth cut.

> 3 dayYou get what you pay for, but with that being said let me elaborate a bit. Having been a woodworker for the past 3 decades Ive used a number of different router bits of varying quality. The Yonico bit is an average to lower end bit that will do what you need it to do if you are careful and patient with them. They are not top end bits that will leave a much smoother edge, but you will have to pay at least twice as much to get that level of quality. I needed the bit to round over the corners of a white ash blanket chest, and knowing that I would have to do some hand sanding anyhow the Yonico did what I needed it to do. Anyone who has worked with white ash knows how easy it chips under the strain of a router unless you are patient and understand when to work in reverse. By using several shallow cuts I avoided any chipping and was left with a decent enough edge that simply needed some touch up sanding. If it were a more complex design than a round over bit, I probably would have spent the money to get a much better bit and skipped the Yonico. Since it was a simple round over bit, I had no issues using this bit with the full expectation of having to do some touch up sanding to complete the process.
