> 3 dayFor a small and single project I did not wanted to buy something expensive. This came pretty cheap and did the job well. Cuts were sharp and with a bit of adjustments I managed to align them properly for what a Trex deck board needs. Very satisfied with the piece. Probably won’t be using it for a long time but when I’ll need it it’s gonna be handy.

> 3 dayneeded this to put a groove in hallway flooring at doorway as we did the hall a few years ago - cut groove for perpendicular strip at doorway - worked great as needed something that wouldnt damage the existing flooring and not have the bearing/nut on the bottom to get into the subfloor

> 3 dayWorked perfectly for grooving the “picture frame” Trex composite deck boards. (They are not grooved) Best to set your router depth by using the groove in a factory grooved board. Easy and smooth cutting. Great value considering the much higher price for the Trex brand cutter. Highly recommend!

> 3 dayIm resurfacing my deck with Trex Transcend. Some of the boards are the square edge variety so they have a clean look on one side, but on the other side I need/want the groove for the spacer. In another case, I needed to rip two adjacent boards so as to fit in the available space. There too I needed/wanted to put the groove so that I could use spacers. I read other reviews about this product and concluded that this was better than the Trex branded router bit. The first time I used it, I thought something was wrong because I didnt feel any drag as I was making the cut. I assumed I had completely missed the board and was getting ready to reset the depth. Then I saw that I had a nice clean groove in my board. You do have to experiment a bit when setting the depth. Initially I assumed that I would want the groove in the middle of the board, equidistant from both edges. It turns out, this groove is a little slimmer than the groove on the grooved boards, so you should test fit a scrap before cutting a grove on your installed piece. I would agree with other reviews that claim this bit is better than the Trex bit. Also, this bit is very sharp and seems to be very durable. It has certainly been easy to put a nice clean groove in my decking.

> 3 dayI would say this is the 2nd most important tool. Any time you rip a board this router bit puts the groove back in the board. If use use square edge boards for a professional look. This bit is needed for the inside to cut a groove. Easy to use router bit. Professional look that maintains the hidden fasteners pattern going.

Greater than one weekI needed to do hardwood floor repair and this bit allowed me to add the groove I needed to the end of existing floor boards while they were still in place. Worked great!
