I pre-drilled and used some silicone to coat the screws before installing them in the house and these are holding up well. Hanging lights was easy and they are holding up well.

I was able to screw in to wooden fencing without drill machine. Just need to add little pressure at the beginning and you are all set.

Product looks as if it will las for years. and was super easy to install. I suggest using a small drill to create a hole to help get the screw get a bite but not needed.
