My old GE incandescent fridge bulb shows a yellow hue light and the bulb runs hot. It burns out ever 2 years or so. This LED bulb runs at 5000k color temperature and runs cool. I just started using it 2 weeks ago so its hard to judge the longevity, but I am pretty happy with it so far. Its white light and is a little smaller than my previous bulb. Its also cool to the touch, which may mean it will help it last longer as with other LED lights.

They are bright but not overwhelming. The white light makes the inside of fridge look modern. Also matches all the bulbs in the kitchen

These lightbulbs are incredible. I feel like my refrigerator has a new, untapped potential that I never knew it had before. I have found things in there that I thought had to start existing years ago. Old ketchup bottle? Found it! Bottle of beer I thought was missing? It’s back again!

I ordered these bulbs specifically (at a premium, no less) because they state in several places that they are 60W equivalents. They are not. The boxes state 40W equivalent right on the outside.

In the past Ive used general purpose 40W appliance bulbs in both my oven and fridge. This is a great replacement for the fridge. It doesnt generate as much heat, and produces more bright, white, light than the 40W incandescent bulbs. Sometimes someone will leave the fridge open and the bulb would start to melt the plastic cover. This one solves that because it stays cooler. One downside with this bulb is it lights things up so well I can see all the old stuff way in the back. So now I have to clean out the fridge. Of course, it cant be used for the oven because of the plastic parts so I still need the old style appliance bulbs for that. Hopefully this will last for many years making it economical as well.

Replaced both bulbs in my fridge with these. They work great and are quite bright.
