> 3 dayHandy to have. At one of the times I got sick, the oximeter seemed to have stopped working….it was because it was having a hard time detecting oxygen and it turned out that my O2 was lower that it’s ever been. Urgent care confirmed that.

> 3 dayI have only been able to get an accurate reading on my little finger. Perhaps because other fingers are a little bit calloused with age? It also seems a little slow at calculating. But not bad for $20. Just dont get too upset if your reading is too low. Try other fingers before calling 911!

> 3 dayBought just to have available for potential future illness. Since they’re so cheap these days it seems like a good idea to keep at home next to the thermometer. As far as I can tell it appears accurate. I get the same pulse measurement when I take my pulse manually. I do recommend giving the pulse reading a minute or two after you start the device before you trust it. It does seem to need a moment to read your pulse before it becomes accurate, which I guess makes sense. Can’t speak to the accuracy of the oxygen reading since I don’t have anything to compare it against except to say the reading indicates my blood oxygen is normal and I’m currently not ill.
