> 3 dayI am just going to put my mom hat on and suggest you research how our bodies create melatonin and how it works! Do not give it every night or the body will stop producing it on its own! That being said I do give this to my kiddos on occasion. For example, on a night when they are excited or stressed about the following day, when we are traveling and staying in a new place for the first time, or when they havent had a chance to do much physical activity and they just arent tired at bedtime. Personally we give melatonin once a month or so. I would suggest giving 1mg tablet to your child at first, even if the dose is for 2 tablets. We have 1 kiddo who is strongly affected by them and only needs 1 to feel the effects.

> 3 daySo far, this is a godsend! My 3 year old usually takes anywhere from 45 minutes to 2.5 hours just to fall asleep, and then her sleep is restless and she tosses and turns, waking up throughout the night. She couldn’t fall back asleep without me coming in to comfort her. I just gave it to her for the first time tonight (it was recommended at her well visit by her pediatrician) and she was asleep within ten minutes. Usually she would have woken up a few hours later, so I went in to check on her, and my usually restless little one was SNORING! I’ve never seen her look so content and restful. I’m not sure if this will continue to work as well, but the first night was wonderful, and I’m usually really skeptical about aids like this. I wish I would have bought this months ago, but hey, I’ve been perpetually exhausted for years and finally get to sleep now!!! Thank you, zarbees!!!

> 3 dayMy daughter just turned 4 years old. She has autism and doesnt talk yet. Ever since she was an infant her sleep pattern has been awful. She completely dropped daytime naps by the time she turned one and even then wont go to sleep at night until 2, 3, 4, 5 or even 6 AM!!!! It does not matter how much I try to fix her sleeping pattern by waking her up early to make sure shes really tired at night nothing works. I came across an article about melanin before but moved along and didnt give it a second thought. Then I over heard a mom at the OT therapist telling another mom that she relies on melanin to get her child to go to sleep at night. So I started reading about it and decided to order this product. It has SAVED my life! Keep in mind that this product will work in making your child drowsy so they can fall asleep but it will not knock them out and necessarily keep them asleep all night. My daughter has this thing where if she goes to sleep too early (early for her anyway, anytime before 12am) she will most likely wake up at 4-5am and stay up for a few hours before going back to sleep. If your child is like mine then this product will not magically fix that. The first two nights I gave it to her she ended up waking up later on so the third night I waited til later to put her to sleep and she slept all night. I am not planning to use this every single day but onthose days when she wakes up late and I know that she will be up until 5 in the morning otherwise then I will absolutely use these. They put her to sleep within 30 to 45 mins. And I dont notice any change on her behavior the next day. Love this stuff!
