Review for: Felt Fabric - Zaza Design Acrylic Felt Fabric by The Yard – 1 Yard Color Black I have several projects that have been in the planning stage that I wanted to start working on. But they have been on hold, since I did not have everything I needed to finish them. I came across this Zaza Design Acrylic Felt Fabric by The Yard, and I knew exactly what I wanted to use it for. After reading the product description, it seemed like it would be perfect for what I wanted to make. So I ordered the felt. I was really excited when the felt arrived. And I was not disappointed. This felt is perfect and it is even better than I expected. It is a nice mid weight felt. Not too thick and not too thin. It does not tear easy if it is stretched like a lot of felt does. I plan on using the felt in place of batting. I want my project to have a little more structure and sturdiness than it would have if I used batting. I still have a couple of items to get before I can start the project. Ii just hope my idea will work.

I plan to use it to make stuffed toys. Its smooth, soft and flexible; not too thin nor too thick. It also comes in a large quantity so I should be able to make many small toys with this.

I frequently line my coin purses, messenger, and tote bags with felt, which lends stability and dimensionality to these projects. I was pleased with this competitively-priced black felt – it’s of perfect weight and thickness, and there is no fabrication smell. It both cuts and irons well. Finally, given the width of this piece of flannel, I can use it to line many of my projects.

This is great felt! This is soft and workable, and sews up really nicely. Doesnt fade in the wash, minimal shrinkage. Thick and sturdy, doesnt shred while I work with it.

My mom is a sewist, and I got this for her. She does a lot of various craft projects. She said that the fabric is very good quality -- comparable to what she gets at the big box hobby stores. I asked her if she would buy it again, she said definitely. I can give no higher praise than mom-approved!

This is very nice quality felt! Its very soft and durable, and its very useful to have a large continuous yard like this! I got this for making plush dolls, but this could be used for a wide variety of crafts and/or sewing. I havent had issues with it shedding or fraying. Highly recommend!

This felt has a soft touch, cuts smoothly, and is easy to sew. Cant ask for much more than that. This is a large piece which will make lots of little gifts for friends and myself, too. I may order more and finally try my hand at a cape. A+

This felt is a nice, sturdy fabric. Im using it to glue on the back of a small hand made rug and so far it looks great and adheres nicely. I havent put it through the wash yet, but eventually Ill have to see how it fares. This fabric is really good quality so I think that if anything, my tufted rug will show some wear rather than the felt backing.

This is the perfect black, it’s deep dark black, no purple or green hues! It is soft felt, not hard felt, but it’s thick so that’s nice too. It will be great for crafting with!

I am a crafter & had some felt projects to complete...this black felt fabric worked great.
