Zeiss Pre-Moistened Lens Cleaning Wipes, 400 count

Great for cleaning glasses and cell phones.

Cleans, but I find it very wet and streaky... the wetness kind of scared me the first time, when I used it on my laptop... even on my eyeglasses, which this is the industry these are guys in, I found it to be with the same results... good price, but not too happy... the box is sitting there and i went out to purchase Screen Guard Foam Cleaning Spray which worked much better, i guess being in a foam form...

Glasses do not clean well with soaps or other products, so these are perfect. Not to mention, my glasses seem to get dirty just laying in my purse. :). These are portable and do a good job. I keep extras at work and in my purse. These work well on all types of glasses, too--sun, reading, goggles, etc.

These do a great job on my glasses but I make sure my hands are clean prior to using the wipes, otherwise I’m cleaning my glasses with a cloth that’s dirty from my hands

They keep the glasses clean and what more can I ask for. Easy to use. Usually used a tissue after wetting glasses but these do a much better job.

Seems odd to write a review for screen wipes, but Ive tried several kinds, and always struggled with streaking or smearing. These work beautifully on both matte and glossy displays.

I used these lens wipes for my prescription eyeglasses. The wipes do not appear to have damaged my glasses in anyway. The wipe does not leave any streaks or residue on my glasses. The wipe also has not caused any scratching to damage to the surface of my lens, or the protective coating my glasses (glare reduction). Once a single wipe is opened from its package, it does dry out rather fast. Almost too fast. But, I am still able to get my glasses cleaned before the wipe is too dry. Ive had good experience with these wipes. 4 stars given because of how quickly the dry after being opened. They dry in less than 2 minutes (probably faster than that) (I havent timed it), which does not sound too fast in text, but when you need to clean both sides of both lenses, less than two minutes isnt enough time. Its not like a moist towelette at the BBQ place, which stays wet forever in comparison to these lens wipes. I will buy these again, unless something really wild and unexpected happens with this product. Good value for the price.

I have no idea how these wipes have received SO many positive reviews. I purchased these wipes to use with my dSLR lenses as well as my glasses, and assumed theyd perform swimmingly based on the rave reviews I had seen--all proved very wrong upon the first use of these wipes. From the very first use, I was astonished to see a streaky residue and dust particles left behind. Even though when looking at the glass straight on after cleansing, you dont notice the residue, you still see the dust particles. Further, when tilting the glass at an angle toward the sun, the most offensive, glaring streaks were left behind. As a photographer, lens cleaner which degrades the quality of my photos--which these did, leaving images cloudy until I could *actually* clean the lens--in any way is not acceptable. I will unquestionably go back to using the pre-moistened lens wipes from LensCrafters.

...but if you wear glasses, they rock. I use them at least once a day, but its fast, cheap, and my classes are cleaned safely without the risk of scratching. Presbyopia sucks, but this wipes the oil off that too.
