ZEISS Pre-Moistened Lens Cleaning Wipes, 600 Count

They do a pretty good job of cleaning my glasses. However the fact that they are all two packets stuck together is really annoying.

Used sensibly, these have become the core of my lens cleaning arsenal. Call them old school if you wish, but I feel safe and confident using these. But, of course, I remove all dust particles and anything which might cause scratches. Generally, my canned air serves that purpose. Out in the field, Ill use the Giottos AA1900 Rocket Air Blaster. Once youve done that, just follow the instructions. Tear out a wipe and gently move it along a circular path. HONESTLY, the first time I did this following the instructions verbatim, I was nervous has the alcohol-based solution these wipes container left behind a very visible film. However, in less than five seconds the film evaporated. And the longer I continued wiping in those circular motions the faster the solution evaporated. So as I used these wipes, I gained confidence because ultimately my lenses got as clean as you could expect them to ever get outside of what a professional might be able to accomplish. Needless to say along with my stash at home, I carry a few of these with me in my camera case.
