The home bottom down or work and the half screen is not working

This kit is a piece of junk. The home button connector does not fit the original connector slot. The connector that this replacement comes with is to big and does not slide in easy as the original or as easy as my other iPad kit. Ended up shorting out my lcd screen trying to install this kit. Waste of money now I have a broken lcd screen that I have to replace now since this kit shorted mine out. Thanks a lot. Spend the extra money and buy a better kit.

Do not buy. Only half the screen works and the screen is glitchy randomly clicking areas. Amazon does not accept a refund on their defective products as I am outside their return window, how convenient.

Shipped and arrived on time, screen digitizer were in good condition and working order. Included all required tools. I had new screen digitizer replaced and ipad working again in about 20 minutes.

Wish adhesive was better but screen worked great! Bought 2! I recommend just make sure you buy extra adhesive

The touchscreen has a few dead areas. It doesnt allow dragging and acts as if I let go of the screen. Cant really return it easily since I already have it installed... I even tired a few spots before gluing it down... but didnt detect this sadly. Disappointing for sure. Will give it a few more days but will probably have to take it off and return it. Then try another screen.

First things first, make sure you have a clean space and some sort of protection for your eyes, it gets messy. Finding the right YouTube video for instructions, the right patience, and the right time, everything works well. I did have issues near the end with the screen but that’s because of something not plugged in right. Everything about this screen is good EXCEPT the adhesion, it’s easy to lift so I might have to find some of my own glue to stick it down, it’s not much of an issue though. Also it’s hard to clean the screens but these are just minor issues. Other than that it’s worth buying if you have patience.

The touch screen had a pretty sizeable dead spot in the middle. It came with the tools necessary to make the repair an easy job.
