Long story short, these hooks are successfully holding up an 8 foot ladder in my garage. Long story long, the rubber coating is solid and adds a little extra padding preventing them from scraping whatever you have them holding. The orange is bright and not something Id want hanging in my living room, but youre not going to accidentally run into them by not seeing them either. Which I think is more important. Id advise making sure you mount them into studs if youre planning on holding anything heavy. The screws provided will work fine for that, but I wouldnt put too much faith if youre just mounting it with the drywall spreaders.

Really great product! Only a couple pieces weren’t wide enough for broom/rack handles but I was still able to utilize them for other things.
