Amazing light! Lasts FOREVER and my turtles are extremely healthy thanks to it. If you are getting aquatic turtles you need this basking light!!

I love this basking lamp. In fact, if my turtles could talk, theyd thank me. It gives them just the right basking temperature. A really good quality lamp. Plus we received it a lot sooner than expected.

Ted is happy with his new light. He has been sunbathing every day. So when Ted is happy we are all happy!

Went to turn it on and it shorted out at the switch and burnt my thumb.

This really changed things for our turtle. I had some old lights lying around from previous pets (lizards, fish, frogs) and the turtle didnt care about the light from any of them. I put this light up and the turtle (red-eared slider) spends hours a day basking under it. I also got a fake floating log that you can put in the aquarium. I put the light over it and it is a seriously content turtle.

It works great for my sliders. Theyre not fancy just enough heat and uv for them.

Its OK. The stand you get for it pictured in the box is a piece of junk, dont buy the stand Im returning it. I need to find a clip or something to mount this light because the stand is worthless unless your tank is on the ground or its sitting on something with plenty of room for the base of the stand. But even with that the stand isnt built very well, its just so-so.
