I did a lot of research before buying hermit crabs for my daughter. I read articles and the way most people get hermit crabs is really abuse to the poor crab. I bought a big tank filled it with sand, it has a heater and I do the water conditioner and also I use the zoo med to make the salt water. They just love their home!

Great product. Makes tap water safe for the crabs. Also, this is just for freshwater, you have to buy part 2 for saltwater.

We got our little guys seven months ago and have used this exclusively for their fresh water. No problems at all. Easy to prepare, too.

Came damaged and empty because it all leaked. Cant get a refund or return. Sucks.
