This is a shredded aspen product, not a chipped aspen. Hognose snakes like to burrow, so this works better than a chip.

Its a good product.I was a little concerned about her nasal ducts getting plugged by the product but shes fine.

Pay attention to the size! It’s tiny! Pointless to use for a snake.... way to small of amount. Seems like a bargain but for such a small amount, it’s not.

Great product but extremely overpriced. You can get twice as much for about a third the price at any major pet store.

Very tiny bag. Not worth $11 at all. It wouldn’t even cover 1/10 of the floor of my snakes habitat. This is BS!

I miscalculated the size of the quarts, far to little for a snake my size. (Arm length) Id check your local pet store first honestly. Good product but not for prize of size. Had to return.

The biggest ripoff for a 4 quart bag!!!! Yikes

All around my favorite substrate for my Hognose!! She loves to burrow through it!!
