> 24 hourExactly as described. Id been buying these at my local pet store (exact same brand) for a red-eared slider, but they last much longer when purchased from Amazon. I dont know if their life is shortened from sitting on a shelf too long, but they would often stop working after a couple months. The store would replace the bad bulbs, as apparently this was a common issue, but it was a hassle. Now I always buy through Amazon, and have never had that issue again.

> 24 hourThe fixture is great! Its perfect for what I need. The sad part is the bulb burnt out after a week. I got the combo to save a bit of money. Uvb bulbs are expensive. :/ better off buying them separately.

> 24 hourThe switch was broken, so the light kept flickering. Ended up not having a uvb light for my turtle until I got a replacement a couple weeks later.

> 24 hourPicked one up for my red-eared slider turtle. Perfect for my needs & exactly as advertised - works well with my screen top terrarium. Please note that this will not work for use inside any animal cage or terrarium. The light switch is attached to the cord rather than the bulb assembly - this is a bigger benefit for heat lamps where the dome can get awfully hot, but still my preference even for a cooler running unit like this one. UVB light is required for many turtles and other reptiles to ensure strong bones, shells, etc.
