Fixture seems good petite, problem with the small bulbs for it just don’t seem to last very long

I had to return this. I was imagining that I could use just any light bulb in the lamp. However, I was trying to have it sit close to the cage as well... None of the bulbs I could find were short enough to not stick out the end... I ended up returning this and buying a dual lamp that has LED and didnt need bulbs.

I purchased the lamp to use with a Zoo Med Nano Infrared Heat Lamp, 25 Watt. this is a really neat small lamp. I can heat up the area near the birds, without it being too hot. I originally purchased to run a desktop item that requires solar power. and these current standard light bulbs do not work. this does the trick. the only criticism I have is the people who post the items for sale, they do NOT make it clear when you purchase the infrared bulbs which lamp it matches too, they should sell it as a set. Because some of the lamps are designed for using the ceramic style heat lamps which are different then these infrared bulbs, which is what I use.

It has worked for a month so far. Either a light or an on/off marking on the switch would be useful.

The nano light bulbs aren’t great themselves but the light figure is. Good quality, sturdy.

The product arrived severely damaged— it’s supposed to be a circular lamp. The package was also very damaged. The lamp also has some white gunk on it. I’ll be returning and not repurchasing.

I used it for a 20 gallon enclosure for my ribbon snake. I used it as an extra for the cold nights in winter with an inferred heat light bulb for it.

Nice compact lamp. Well made. Good for reptiles with low temperature requirements.
