I upgraded from a 1660 and the performance is a huge difference for me. The card itself looks really nice: sleek design with a nice metal backplate. In terms of performance, it’s really helped my PC tone down the noise level which tells me it’s staying cool. Definitely would recommend to anyone looking for an affordable upgrade! Not a gamer but using it for a 40 monitor. Very responsive after the new drivers were installed. Been waiting for the 3050s to come down a little and glad I did.

NVIDA does not support Freesync with Windows 7. Which means if you want Win7 and open source Freesync all of NViDIAS cards are obsolete right out of the box.
