I currently have my hair up in box braids and was worried the bulk would snap these and cause them to break. However, after using them for about a week, they have held up great. Before the box braids, I was wearing my hair natural and my hair is THICK, and still, they stood up the the test and came out well. I ordered these because I wanted a more subdued look for my claw clips and these fit the bill. I LOVE that they are matte as well. So far, no chips in the product itself or the color have happened so I am pleased. I like that they came with some hair ties l, a nice touch and really cute, they are also quite stretchy and useable unlike the extras that usually come with purchases like this.

These are some nice large hair clips/claws, strong and sturdy and just the right size for me. Nice solid shiny colors in a nice box. You dont have to worry about them slipping down or not staying in place because they do stay put and they wont pull your hair nor add any irritation. These hair clips will make a good gift as well. Overall good quality product and a good value.

These are a definitive upgrade to the old-skool banana clip claws that look like vulture talons. Ive always had a longstanding love-hate relationship with them, because while they do seem to break my hair less than tight ponytails, they also just scream I couldnt be bothered with my hair. But these just look very smart — a more modern shape, matte (rather than glossy) finish, and neutral colors that will look great with any hair color. A serious level-up for a ubiquitous hair product. I have pretty thin hair (decent amount of hair, but the hair itself is fine). These have a firm, firm hold (theyre almost hard to open) and its unbudgeable. But I think theyll hold a ton of thick hair, too. BIG fan and my friend with thick hair saw these and wanted them, so I scored her some too. Highly giftable — theyre sweetly packed in a pretty array in a nice box.

I have long thick curly hair so it has been a struggle to find sturdy hair clips that can handle all my hair, but I have finally found the perfect clips. They are super stylish and do their job perfectly.

These claw clips were originally for me, but my middle schooler took one look and decided they were for her. These clips are sturdy and strong enough to hold my hair in place. I like having these on hand as they are safer to have around our new kittens than elastic rubber bands

The bonus is that they include 4 very nice hair bands. They are small and in the same color family as the clips. I am not usually this impressed, but the only thing that Id like is a strong product that is also lighter in weight. These are not super heavy, but they are heavier than I like . The bands are really great and hold nicely. There are some logo tags on the bands, and Im not fond of those because they are sort of meant to be left intact. Id rather not have those on the bands. Very nice so far. Ill update with longevity and wearing experience over time. I recently started wearing extensions again, after a sad sad hair fall. I love short hair, and certainly when its hot I love short hair, but being near bald isnt my desired look. The extensions are great, but Im not used to them and in that case I typically do something to style or secure the hair to look more like natural hair. Its crazy to have extensions and then braid it or put it in an up-do, but I really dont want to style it so much every day. I also like to keep it out of my way and out of my face while working. These clips are great. They are designed to have enough room for some bulky hair. I love the colors and this set include four colors and two design styles. 5 stars

I like this set of metallic color clips for color, shape, and design. They would be 4 stars if it not for some chipped finishing. Rectangular shape is my favorite compared to banana clip style but both hold equally well nice flat finish does not cause snagging of hair when twisted up or taking out I have thin, fine, long hair.
