Greater than one weekMy iPad goes everywhere with me, protecting it is a priority. I was impressed that the case came packaged in a sturdy box with protective foam etc. Since my iPad currently only had a folio case, the heaviness was a bit more than I was used to but understandable considering the magnets. The case fit perfectly on my iPad with no trouble at all. It’s very secure. I love the magnetic stand. There are 7 positions and the magnets hold very well. The felt padding helps to hold my iPad securely on my lap. I can put it down and walk away and it stays put. I haven’t tried it on a table yet but I’m sure it would work very well. I am confident that this case would protect my iPad should it happen to drop. The only thing I would be concerned about is the pencil slot. While it seems to be secure, I’m not sure the pencil will stay when being carried around.
