I was replacing a similar leather satchel that had worn out. This one is superior quality leather with brass fittings and lining. The item arrived very quickly and in good condition. Very happy with this purchase and would not hesitate to order again.

So it’s a fine bag after I did some work on it . Literally oiled it up about 5x before it looked somewhat normal… it arrived to me pretty cracked and dry. the buckle on the shoulder strap pulls my hair out. And the manual buckles on the front are a little fussy. I tried to install some magnetic buttons, kinda helps but it was extremely difficult to sew through leather . I really just wanted a refund but they just sent me another bag that was exactly the same so. Idk , if you want a sturdy bag but don’t need access to the contents of it quickly , this might be the bag for you!

My son really likes this. Because of the packaging we had to use goo gone on the metal pieces to get rid of tape residue. But the bag is very nice.

My wife got me this for Fathers Day and I absolutely love it. I love it so much I wish I had more places to go just so I could use it more often. The only reason Im giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because I think it would really benefit from having a handle so it could be carried as a briefcase. If given the full spectrum of decimal points between 4 and 5 to rate with this critique would really only knock my rating down to 4.9 out of 5 stars.

I had to get mink oil to condition the leather as it started to crease. The strap is stretched out I have only had it a mo. The strap should be addressed to be made more sturdy.

I hate purses. I hate the idea of spending tons of money on a bag that is a fashion statement. Dont get me wrong; I dont begrudge anyone their likes or tastes nor do I think I am right about my personal likes. Im just framing this to say that, as much as I dislike shopping for bags, this one was everything that I wanted. Im that weird, quirky writer type (legitimately a writer) and when I saw this bag I wanted it right away. It is smooth leather with a roomy inside. My only regret is that my personal laptop wont fit inside, but my tablet and journals definitely fit. The bag feels classic and durable. The strap is strong and the rest of the bag has a hand-crafted quality to it. I honestly expect this to last me for years.

Beautiful bag on the outside but there is globs of sticky glue all over the inside seams. I wish I didnt have to return it
