Greater than one weekFirst let me say I am a Forensic Engineer, next let me say that I have been in a wheelchair for almost 40 years. With that said, I have never in my life come across a product as bad as these!!!!! I purchased these less than 4 months ago and have had to replace them 4 times due to bearing failure. My application is not even a difficult one as all I am doing is putting them in the front tires of my wheelchair, yet they keep failing. They are cheap but you will spend more money replacing them than whatever you may have saved buying them. DO NOT BUY THESE UNLESS YOU WANT TO REPLACE THEM EVERY 1-2 MONTHS OR LESS.......THEY REALLY ARE THAT BAD.

> 3 dayGot these for my rollerblades and theyre just OK. Im sure there are plenty of uses for bearings that dont need to be as efficient (electric skateboard, etc.) so if you have something like that, this would be a pretty stellar deal. However, for skates and regular skateboards that you use often, you may want to look elsewhere. UPDATE: After attaching them to my skates and riding them around a little bit, they seem to have loosened up and are now gliding much more efficiently. Raising rating from 3 to 4 stars.

Greater than one weekI thought hardening at the very least a requirement for roller bearings. I guess thats what I get for ordering chinese crap. Save your money.

> 3 dayThey certainly aren’t amazing quality but they get the job done. They are pretty stiff bearings so if it’s a low torque application you might not want to use these.

> 3 dayThese are excellent 608 bearings for NON-SKATE use such as bearings for 3D printer parts. You can get rid of grease within seconds by simply dipping in some lighter fluid. They work fine after or you can add a little bearing oil. Also the sleeves are junk, just use without. These bearings would be good for applications that dont deal with dirt such as actual skateboarding. They are perfect for other uses.

> 3 dayBreaks extremely quickly, unsafe for skateboarding. I bought these for backup bearings in case mine blew out at the park but even so, theyre not worth it. Theyre so cheap and fragile they get destroyed within a few hours of riding. If you want to buy these for skateboarding, I strongly recommend you dont.

Greater than one weekThese are 608RS bearings a good value. At first they were listed as having a nylon bearing cage but, in fact, they are steel. I contacted the seller (a small startup) and they responded immediately and corrected the description. Unlike another reviewer here, I did not find the bearings that I received to be full of grease, though. There certainly was some grease inside. If using these for light loads, like skateboarding, try opening up one side and putting a couple of drops of light oil in (I used silicone oil) and give it a few turns to thin out the lubricant a little. That really makes these spin well. If using these for heavy loads and high RPM, leave the grease in, of course, without thinning. But, if using them for light loads, thinning the lubricant may just do the trick for you.

Greater than one weekOK, just OK. You get your moneys worth, but dont expect too much when you are paying about 25 cents per bearing. They arrive in industrial dirty condition, so you need to wipe them down with some WD-40 before use. Check them individually, I had one bearing missing a seal, and one bearing that was just useless. Several are grindy enough that I will use them only if necessary. The seals are good if you will be using these bearings in a dirty environment, such as shaping wood with a CNC. But the seals alo add friction, since they tend to rub against the inside of the bearings. If you are using just a few bearings, I would get better quality over quantity.
