Greater than one weekthese are the worst bearings ive encountered on amazon as of yet, the price really was too good to be true. they arrived super sticky as if they used sugar water as a lubricant. they also require many pounds of force before they even roll. do your self a favor and do not buy

> 3 dayGreat value but ya... maybe 10-15% of them are defective. But with some clean up and tlc you get a bunch of bearings for cheap

> 3 dayI bought these to use in DIY tools with parts I’ve made on a mill or lathe. I made the mistake of not reading all the reviews. If you want cheap bearings in bulk, this is a great buy. If you want any kind of quality, keep looking. They came in two packs of five tubes of ten bearings each. Every single one of them has some kind of rust. I didn’t expect any rust. If I’m going through the trouble of hand carving metal on a manual mill or manual lathe to build a tool, I don’t want to use rusty parts. I doubt I’ll ever buy these again. The only reason they got a second star was because of the low price per bearing. I’m sure I can find something to do with them, I just can’t use them in anything I ever want to sell if I want to build any kind of reputation for quality work.

> 3 dayI thought I could make them work as budget bearings for my skates, and I followed another reviewers recommendation to take them apart, degrease, and reassemble with proper bearing oil. After doing all that, they still were LOUD and rattled really badly. One of the bearings exploded during a practice after only a couple weeks. I havent even tried to use the rest of the bag. What a waste.

> 3 dayInner races have very poor tolerances... guess you get what you pay for but I really wouldnt consider these rideable on a skateboard, wheels wobble pretty hard. Very thick grease on them too.

> 3 dayI ordered these 608 Bearings for use in some projects I have for 3D printing. Some of the bearings are rusted. They dont spin and the ones that do are so coated in oil that you have to force them to move. They are crap bearings, if you can even call them that. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME GETTING THESE! Lets just say, its a good thing Amazon has a return policy!

> 3 dayAs others have stated these are covered in grease. Its a basic coating that most bearings you order come with and was not a big deal. The bearings come in these plasic tube holders and all i did was fill it up with rubbing alcohol (best i had) and shook it then used a paper towel to clean them off. So far out of the 2 tubes ive done that to and tested, ive only had 2 hard to move bearings. It was clear this was due to the plastic cover not fitting well and not a problem with the bearing itself. If you have the time to clean them or were planning on using the bearings in a more mechanically heavy application and will grease them yourself then these are perfect. Very cheap and so far average quality. The grease smell is just a normal one i dont know why some people were overreacting. Im building mechanical joints for a raspberry pi project and these are exactly what i needed to ensure everything moves properly. I may clean them and mix in graphite powder with more grease to use them as sliprings since damage is not a concern for the sheer plethora i now have.
